Basically, a staff member at Dundee Library runs a Warhammer Club, which is by all accounts not just successful, but beloved by its members and their parents. But
pencil necked desk jockies appear to have moved said staff member on to other duties, leaving the club bereft of leadership.
Article itself is quite lovely really, and illustrates what I found myself when I was a Staffer running games and activities for younger hobbyists.
Not sure what the solution is here, but perhaps emails (polite emails, obvs) to Leisure and Culture Dundee might encourage a rethink. Maybe you’re a Dundee Dakkanaut that might look into volunteering? Obvs that depends on the club times.
But. Yeah. BOOO LEISURE AND CULTURE DUNDEE. BOOOOOO I SAY!
