Valrak's track record on Kill Team rumours are pretty solid, ever since he told us about Kommandos vs DKoK before anyone else did back in '21

I just hope they keep on releasing content for Joint Ops. Nemesis Operatives was huge for me personally, and I find myself playing co-op games now almost exculsively. Its super refreshing to play with your buddies for a change, as opposed to always playing against them

40k I imagine will be some Ork & Marine codex previews, maybe a roadmap

They are obviously capable of messing the audience around and they must know what the rumours have been, but the wording "that new Necromunda box" does not sound particularly seismic.

Probably a lot of smaller announcements given it's 40K release season. I wouldn't expect anything earth shattering, more covering their bases with new boxes for everybody else.

How does it not? "Box" sounds like the sort of way they'd refer to something like a new starter box or addon.

We knew that if the rumours were at all true then we could expect at least a replacement for Hive War, and so it has proved. But people were talking about complete overhauls, new edition, major dumbing down, and so on. I'm not sure this is how they would trail that.

I got bad news about GW and overlap between different games right now, especially SGS and main studio.

A bit of fluff in the new necro book would be more than enough to be honest. Besides most collectors already have that overlapping on their own collections, so it would just be a nice background bridge between the two.

Ahh I wondered why my wallet went screaming under the couch - - having survived the new 40K edition without temptation (waiting to see if all the paper/cards in the boxed set go for cheaper on ebay only) I am ripe for GW hitting me with a whole slew of cross game temptations!

Other way around - Summer is 40K, between the launch box, new starter sets and first two codices. However this will be the show announcing things for after that wave, so there's a decent chance of some major releases.
The big 40K boxes have been produced and have been either shipped already or are in the warehouses ready to go, so there's a few months of post-40K launch factory time stuff to be announced here.

New Necomunda starter box, new Kill team season box and Ogors has the big releases September-ish - but something like Custodes in LI also is going to fit in fine.
