Well I've decided to put the gobbos on hold and try to get my Tau finished for the 40k league!

Some of you may have noticed the bases look like they can go together... well they can!
From the inside, you can also see the piranha wing I melted by accidently dumping 1/2 the bottle of the pro-weld on it

Well I've got 1 more to build before I paint them, then stick the pilots in there.  I've also got to cast up some more of my custom heads before I get everything painted.

i like the idea of the bases but they seem a little -too- angled in flight,
other than that,i cant see anything that looks 'off' to me.
Can the two Piranhas fit together when the bases are close?

It looks really bad in the pics but its not "that" bad IRL.
The piranhas fit together when the bases are together but its a snug fit. I think I'm going to have the rest of them, 3 more for the full squad, will be flying around the same building. I thin for the second squad I'll try to do something with the cheap land raider I found at a pawn shop

I like the bases... but they might be too dominant. I'd have to see them painted or as a group on the bases... Great looking centre pieces though!
