Anyone know of any models that would make good female traitors/IG. Plastic models would be the best so i could do a little converting to them. Any miniature line would be ok, as long as they are in the 40k scale range. Thanks.

Id say cheapest way? Rock some Cadians and buy some Amazon heads from the Mordheim range. Of course you might have to use some green stuff to model the chest area. If you looking to drop lots of cash or just dont care go for some Necromunda Escher gangers....

Don't forget the 'Female' Grenade Launcher Catachen. I use the term female loosy when describing her. She redefines the word butch.
I think there are a couple female models in the old Last Chancers stuff.
You wouldn't be able to build an army with these models but they might provide some color.
Also what about Dark Eldar Wyches? Anyone know if they might of any use to him?

Well.... this IS a fantasy game and when was the last time you saw a fantasy chick that was anything less than a DD cup? Which I am pretty sure you can't squeeze into regulation IG armor. "Whoops, it popped out again sir! Teeheehee." Promotions ensue.

Just saying.
Is there any way to accentuate the hips on a plastic Guardsmen? Or are those hidden as well? Because if so, well, maybe there's an easier to do this then...

Any miniature line would be ok, as long as they are in the 40k scale range. Thanks. The best way I can think of would be to use Cadian Legs and arms, Dark Eldar Female Torsos, and Mordheim Amazon heads. The Female Dark Eldar torsos fit well with the legs, and are easy to get a hold of. Heck, I ended up with about forty and I wasn't even trying to get them. The Amazon heads are great because they come on their own seperate sprue. You can then use the empty cadian helmets to make female guardsmen. If you want a more androgynous look, simply use the cadian torsos as well and give them female heads. If you want a more femenine look, then use Dark Eldar legs as well as the torso, but still use cadian arms. They'll look like their wearing a skin-tight body suit that way.

Man, that's the joy of Anime! To revel in the complete and utter wastefullness of making an unstoppable nuclear-powered combat andriod in the shape of a cute little girl, who has the ability to fall in love and wears an enormous bow in her hair. |

For Your Consideration: SST Female Cap Troopers Just throwing those out there, because after actually looking at them they a) don't fit well in 40k Guard; b) don't look overly like women, though the hips/legs are good on a few; and c) look a little too 'chimpy' about the face. The more I look at them the less bad they look, but still. Good luck, sounds like you're in for some serious kitbashing. - Boss Salvage EDIT: Looked at them some more, and I take back about them being less bad. In reality, I only dig the chick with raised gun, the rest are GUH x2.

1. There are numerous options for you to choose from. - (40k)Sisters of Battle, Inquisition, Catachan grenader, the old school first or second edition metals had a couple, and dark eldar sliced and diced and combined with IG parts. - (Mordhiem)- Amazons,Sisters of Sigmar, and a few of the bits from the range fit well. - (Necromunda)- The Van Sarr now have a few females, The ratskin braves heads, redemptionists, Jakara spyer hunters, Cawdor Juves, and the Escher gang. As well, there are a few other females in the range, such as one of the bounty hunters, Mad Donna, and a few of the newer bits from the new packaged gangs that would work well in multiples with different equipment and green stuff attatchments. - (Fantasy)- grail maidens, Amazons, slannish demonettes both old and new, the dark elves range, the elves range, there are a few and far between, but there are a few there. - As for other mini ranges, try the Void range, the anime game from the other thread had a few cool ones, and mongoose has a few, ( and they're selling cheap) - try over at the frothers site, they always have a good selection of sites for some redirects to different mini ranges, such as the judge dredd range, the streetfight range, the EM4 site, among others. there are alot to choose from, Good Luck

Slaanesh worshipers would best be represented by hermaphroditic or androgynous figures with garish colors and freaky looking equipment. Slaanesh is the god of excess, hedonism, and pride, not just of big tittied blondes.

Also check out Copplestone Casting's Future Wars line: there's a pack of 5 female near-future troopers; work in great scale with IG figs.
Likewise, the old Void/Urban War line is a treasure-trove of all kinds of female figs, from powered-armored to light infantry to crazy cybered up techno-techno naked freaks.

Posted By Myrlyn on 01/29/2007 10:20 AM I just found these the other day that would work really well for IG female fighters (Catachan especially, but also for Tanith). They're made by Shadowforge. Those are really nice. Hadn't seen them before. Taking my cue from Darkchild, I think the Eldar Guardians would be a good start for elite-looking female IG. Use the female torsos, but snip off the fancy shoulder pads and trim down or cut off the back pack. Clip down the various Space Marine ammo pouches to singles, and attach them to the body as needed. GW has lots of backpack bits you could use (I'm partial to the old metal Space Wolf scout backpacks). Maybe round off the toes and add a little plasticard and greenstuff to bulk up their boots. For the heads, you could go with Mordheim Amazon heads as mentioned, plastic heads from the Sisters of Battle vehicle sprue, or get some of the Female Human Head sprues from Hasslefree: http://hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/pack.php?pack=497 http://hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/pack.php?pack=498
