So I'm thinking of using the FW Commander Culln to convert into Deathwing Master Belial using the FW Deathwing shoulder pads and plastic Deathwing parts. The only thing I need suggestions on is the chest, as I want to do a tabard for the front(much like one of the pictures on hiw rules pages in the new Codex). Should I whittle down a plastic Black Templar chest after filing down the chest(unfortunately the Culln body is a solid piece), or ask/commission(beg/plead/bribe/offer first born) someone talented with GS to make the tabard?

Thanks!

I'd see if there isn't someone in your area with enough skill to do the tabard out of green stuff if your skills fall below your expectations. It would make the model a bit more unique than just "cut & paste" of plastic bits. Besides, filing torsos can be a pain in the arse as I've done a few just to make a couple of "true" Mark VIII torsos.

platuan4th where do you live?

I have a spare culln lying around that I was going to use for my blood angels last year but never did anything with it. If you want I can sculpt a tabbard onto it and send it to you.

email me at bushi53@hotmail.com and we can talk about it a little more.
