Plano, Texas

Hey all!

There will be a 40k doubles tourney at Hobby Town USA in Plano Texas, on April the 7th.

Hobby Town USA is located at 3033 W. Parker road!  We're in the North East corner behind the BlockBuster and  Washington Mutual so try not to drive by

For this tourney you will need:
1000 point army list legal army list (Forgeworld and special characters are allowed, but see the restrictions below!)
a partner with a 1000 point legal army list
Templates
Dice (including scatter if it is needed)
40k Rule book
Army book
Latest copy of any other rules you will be using for your army (forgeworld books, PDFs from GWs site, etc...)
$10 Entry fee per person.

When making an army list a team may only use 1 force organization chart. This means that between the 2 of you, you may only use 3 heavy support choices (4 if your Iron Warriors, but you'll both be limited else where). Also units that are 0-1 may not be taken by each team member, same with special characters.
There are only 16 slots in this tourney so first come first served!!
The warmachine league will still be going so, please feel free to bring up your warmachine or hordes armies if you don't want to play 40k. The top team will walk away with 1/2 of the entry money to split between themselves in store credit ($40 a piece if we get 16 people).
League painting rules will be enforced for this tournament. Three color minimum and 1 color on the base (for a total of 4), flocking is not required. Please note that 3 stripes on a banner will not cut it. Also NO bare metal or plastic can be seen.

Points will be awarded for the following:
1) Wins/Loss/Draw (10 for a win, 5 for a loss, 7 for a draw)
2) Painting (1 - 30 points, 1 is meeting the bare minimum requirements, 30 is the best army there)
3) Team Theme (1 - 10 points)
4) Sportsmanship (1 - 10 points each round awarded by your opponents)

Tentative schedule:
10:00 Store opens
10:30 Round 1 starts
12:30 Round 1 ends
01:00 Lunch break and painting/theme judging
01:30 Round 2 starts
03:30 Round 2 ends
04:00 Round 3 starts
06:00 Round 3 ends, awards, store closes

Hope to see y'all there!
