As for the figure, I hate to say it but a big "meh" from me. The concept is okay, but pretty derivitive, and the pose is awful.

Dark Age: Sawblades, Sister Compassion, Nathaniel, udw ... Eyeless, spiky helms throughout.

Though I have to note that the eyeless Legion, Dark Age and Alchemist stuff are some of my favorite 'fantasy' models. Go fig.

Whilst I agree that the eyeless head is similar to the Alien head design I think that these minis genrally are very un Giger.

Its specifically the heads that annoy me. This armoured head design by PP is exactly the same as the Rackham design. And the Rackham model came out some time before this.

Personally I think they are trying to cash in on the buzz that the aberretion prime made when it was first released earlier this year (Dec/Jan?).

Wait, that is not supposed to be the same creature? Didn't noticed that they were from different companies until you said it Gundammecha.

Apart from that, doesn't like that thing at all, the pose is silly and the upper part of the body seems to fall of his legs. The puny wings do the rest.

It's really not nicely done at all and the sword and pose look terrible.

Generate buzz from something that a good chunk of people in the gaming world haven't even heard about? Aberation what? I think PP has a lot more of a following than Confrontation, at least in these parts.

No. It's not.

The Aberration heads are smoothly curved like Giger's Alien design. PP's Dragonspawn are more angular and come to a snout-like point, not to mention that they have nostrils.
