Subject: Anyone else buying the old models before the prepaints show up?

The prepaints look sweet, but Im thinking the price will go up on them. Im buying up the older models now to get a large enough force to only buy what I "need" when the new stuff comes out. By the by, I think PP (Prepainted) will become the thing of the future. Think other companies will follow suit?

I'm sure a few will follow, but there will always be people that are primarily in this for the modeling aspect, so they will hate prepainted figures. I bought a box of arachnid warriors just to model them. I haven't gotten around t it, but it looks good.

All the ones I was interested in sold out at my FLGS months ago, and they are not going to restock until the upgrade is released.

i have 4 boxes of the plastic human soldiers(don't remember their name) i was going to use them for a 40k imperial guard conversion, but lost interest. i only opened 1 box to see what they were like on the sprue. i would be interested in trading or selling them just PM me if anyone is interested. i know some one will say this post should be in swap shop but figure it will do the most good @ this sight.

Pics can be found here: http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/miniature/detail.php?qsID=794&qsSeries=# For converting, they are definitely off-scale from GW.
