Well after hearing rumors of the new Ork codex, and seeing a wonderful steam stompa on another thread, I decided to take a few pics of my scratch built Ork vehicles.

First up is my Ork Battlefortress. I knicknamed this the "Mega Russ". I basically stretched a leman Russ's shape out (as orks copy what they see).

Next up is my Battlewagon. This is acually my first 40k model. I imagined what a tank would look like if it was crossed with a unicycle.

Finally it is my Ork Fighta. It is a modified Mig 16.

Fun! Paint's a little cartoonish, but clean. Good stuff. Love the unicycle.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

I actually try for a bit of cartoonishness in my models. It just seems to make them more fun, especially orks.

The unicycle is terrific!  I'm loving it, and may have to steal the idea from you at some point.  With full credit, of course!

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

Nice stuff, I agree the paint job ought to be bussier but I like the models.

Wow that MiG really just looks like the archetypical jet fighter.

Love the UniRider (TM) ! The Mega Russ (TM) is also very good, but could use some weathering...

The unicycle is the bomb.

OT:
I am willing to bet that tank is a 20Gal Long tank. I cant tell whats being kept in the tank as I only see a few exoterra plants and a thermal strip. I feel sorry for the fauna in the tank though, as they are being assaulted by not only machines of war, but ork machines of war.

You better move that tank away from the radiator, dude. Thats a bad thing unless you live in the cold wastes.

LOL, my animal tank currenlty only has one Green anole in it. The only heat source even close to is it a reading lamp pointed it's way. That seems to provide just the right amount of heat. I also have a 40 gallon tank full of firebellied toads.

Back on topic, Thanks for all the comments guys.

Lol, I first thought I was looking at lego! Some cool ideas in there, especially like the mono track idea....I might have to borrow that one.
