i would start with dropping your
tac squads to 6 and and get three squads. Change the missile launcher to a lascannon . Each squad runs 115 so three runs you 345, but allows you to lighten up on your lascannons in the
devs squads --with that many cannons in one squad, the opponent will single that unit out and eradicate them quickly. this way you spread the love amongst units and also give yourself better focus on the cannons. For me nothing was more frustrating than shooting at a vehicle with several lascannons in my unit and popping it on the first shot. The other lascannon just gets waste. Also, you're getting the lascannons for *much* cheaper with
tac squads...20 points less, and you get a plasmagun for each.
last note on tacs -- I would consider adding a fourth unit, which brings you up to the same amount of las and gives you more bodies and an extra
plas. That makes a pretty solid core of shooting.
For
dev squads, 4
HB is pretty strong dakka --12 s5 shots with solid range. They'll mow down infantry and are pretty cheap -- 150 for the unit (put in an extra guy for ablative armor). You could run two of those and save on the extra points spent on the tacs.
for the terms I would drop one term and downgrade the chap to reclusiarch. I'm not sure the extra wound and
ld is worth it in this case. I might add in a lightning claw (but I'm craaaaazy for lightning claws, so don't necessarily trust me
) to the chap. Personally I think a librarian might be better, as you have quite a few powers which you can use to nasty effect right off the drop.
I would consider making the master part of another terminator squad similar to the chaps. You won't benefit from his
ld 10 till he drops, but you get another unit you can drop into
CC and belt with withering
AC fire. probably give the master an adamantine mantle and that's it.
For one or both of the term squads, consider tank hunters as it makes the
ACs S8 vs vehicles and hence capable of at least glancing anything. With rending they can be potent against vehicles to.
Please feel free to ignore anything that doesn't fit your vision (and
SM pros, please feel free to correct me where I've erred) --I'm just seeing what you
have and making some assumptions on what you want, which appears to be a shooty
SM army with some capabilities for termy based assault/backup fire.
Most of the tuning I've proposed is easily attainable within the scope of what you've laid out, and I think only extra terms bust out of that.
Hope it helps!
