Hey, a LONG time ago I saw an awesome Tau titan that was made from some anime mecha model that had four legs, all at 90 degrees to one another.. I can't for the life of me find a picture of it, but was wondering if anyone that knew anything about anime/mecha stuff would know of a model kit that has four legs? If not, does anyone know of any good mecha model kits that fit in the the style and size of a tau titan?

I don't know if Tau have the "feel" of Titans, even though the Manta is one of the biggest models around. I see them more with large ships, such as the manta, with hundreds of heavy hitters such as broadsides and hammerheads unloading. I mean, why take a large target like a titan, when you can get 3 twin-linked, S10 AP1 shots with a broadside squad.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

Come to think of it, you could pretty easily make a Tachicoma style 4 legged walker out of a Devilfish, but it wouldn't be titan sized tho... Some creative building might get it up to titan size.

Cheers

Oooooh, as a Tachicoma, I can see that. I didn't even think of that style, I was thinking more of an Earthseige style walker.

You are looking for the Front Mission Wanzer robot. I have one myself that has been sitting on a shelf for 2 years. I always intended to convert it into a tau titan, but never got around to it. With Apocalypse I am very tempted to start converting it. You can pick one up on ebay

I think the curves of a Tachicoma fit the tau scheme a little more

I just think this particular model isnt big enough to make a titan, doh.
