Felt like it was worth posting up a few shots of my Deathwing Land Raider Crusader. There's nothing special conversion-wise on it, but it was the first time I tried to do freehand art on a vehicle. I felt like it turned out well at the time, but a few months later, I'm not so sure. Opinions?

Front right corner, not much new here.

Front left; you can see the Watcher and sword done on the left side.

Left side; a much better view of the sword.

Left side; the Watcher and a wet-blended DA symbol.

Right side; another Watcher, and another wet-blended half DA symbol.

The sword on top of the right side.

The freehand looks pretty good to me. The only thing is that in your painting the watcher's robes come together nearer to the bottom, but actually the should billow outwards. Otherwise everything looks really good.

Really good freehand! I definitely would not have guessed it was a first attempt. Ill agree with the previous posters about likening the swords a bit more than the watchers as well.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

Good freehand, but the general paintjob looks way too thick, it looks like an oil painting. I would hazard a suggestion that you need to water your paints down more.

Though this may have been the result you wanted, it may also just be the photo.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

Rot, I've been caught! You're spot on. I bought this LRC used, and the previous owner painted it with the cheap Wal-Mart style thick acrylic paint. After a failed attempt to strip another model with the same paint, I just gambled on painting over the top of it with this one. I then also did a very poor job of highlighting it, gave up, and slapped freehand on it so that no-one would notice. Result = failed!

At the others: I'm also much more fond of the swords than the watchers. If I could get that kind of effect when I tried to do NMM, I'd be much happier about my skills...
