Back in the middle of december I placed an order for the babylon 5 - a call to arms game. I ordered the rulebook, the fleetbook and the white star army box. (It looks very cool, how could it be a bad game?!)
I was informed a week later that the army box was delayed, but they'd send the rulebooks... actually they gave me an option to cancel the order based on the delayed army box, but the next day I got the rulebooks (thanks for the option guys!) anyhow, I figure at this point I'm invested in the game and they said the delay would be no more than a week after the holidays.
Here we are in february, my last response from them was Jan 4th. I can call, but the sales rep CAN NOT and WILL NOT put me in touch with anyone who can answer my question... "where the bleep is the white star army." I don't know if it was shipped or if its on backorder, no clue. I don't think my card was charged. I've called about once a week and emailed also about once a week to find out whats going on.
So in my opinion I'd avoid CCG Armory

If you got it from Mongoose, you are SOL.
They have a posting over on thier site that they are getting out of the minis business.
They'll probibly be getting out of the games business if they arn't careful. As for the Babylon 5 stuff, all I can say is tough break, but from those of us that have had dealings with Moongoose in the past, we can tell you that... Why arn't we suprised by your predicament.
In the event that you bought it from another online store, you are probibly sitting thier along with them waiting on an order that will never come.
Most stores I know have given up on Mongoose, and won't order from them because of tricks like this. My LGS looks at you, laughs and shakes thier head when the conversations about Mongoose pop up from time to time.
They have a less then steller performance, even though they say they mean well.
sorry for your inconvinience, all the same.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money. |

If CCG Armoury purchased a White Star army from Mongoose on behalf of the OP, and Mongoose fails to deliver, it's probably not entirely CCG Armoury's fault.
All I can say is that it'll be nice when Mongoose goes belly-up so that someone else can pick up the B5 stuff at auction.
If B5 could be converted to a BFG-like engine, that really would be the best of all worlds.

this is again CCG Armoury fault, cos they start sellin stuff that are out of stock. And it seems that this even not pre-order stuff.

When a retailer simply can't get back order stuff, you still have to reply to customers, either with reassuring emails or offering a refund if it'll simply take too long.
I used to work retail, and sometime distributors jerk you around. There's virutally no way not to disappoint the end customer, but at least you can be honest the whole way through the process.

Just to offer a counter,
I've ordered over 20 times from CCG armory (some very large orders, some small). I've only ever had one problem, and that was recently where they forgot to ship a box of Therians. No problem; a quick email cleared everything up and all is well.
I think the recent problems stem from increased demand placed upon CCG Armory--more orders means more mistakes (or someone's getting sloppy in the shipping department). CCG Armory is usually pretty decent about keeping track of what they have in stock--they're the only company I know of that will notify you when they get something back in stock, too.
Sorry about your luck, though.

Hey Penek, how was your order shipped from them? Considering your location tag (Russia), if it was shipped via a method that wasn't trackable (UPS, Fedex, etc) then it shipment delay could very well be caused by customs in Russia and you'll never know. They'll never know. I used to work for an internet-based company that shipped worldwide...it got to the point that we wouldn't ship anything overseas unless it was trackable because the delays got to be so bad.

I've ordered from CCG armory a couple of times, and while they always made me a bit nervous, my stuff always came in. Admittedly, it's been probably 2+ years since my last order, so YMMV, as is clearly the case.
Hope your stuff comes in!

Last week I got my response from CCG, a curt email saying that they are not restocking babylon 5 miniatures and an apology for the inconvience. 2 sentences yay.
Add to this that both rules books I got from them have weird spine and cover warpage that I've never seen before (even with books left in the sun in a car in an odd position), and I can safely say I've got 3 reasons to never order from these people again. Quality, Communication, Customer Service... all the suck.
