Hey guys,

I wanted to make the warboss on a bike. This warboss will have his own attack squig but i wanted a PK on his other hand. So im thinking of buying the warbiker mob that comes with all those extra bitz.

Then, instead of getting the warboss to put his right hand weapon on, ill just put the power klaw making him hold the attack squig and PK.

Now this is the part thats really tricky and it might not work. If you own your own warboss and warbikerz, can you also help me out too:

I see how the warboss has this little flap kinda thing in between his legs. I was thinking of chopping that of so he would have his legs spread apart exactly the same way as normal without that flap in the way. Then i wont glue the base on (OBVIOUSLY!!!) and then simply just push him into the seat of the bike. But thats the catch, im not sure if his legs are too close or too far apart to actually sit on the seat comfortably (WITHOUT GLUE!) and then i could easily take him off latre.

The reason i want to do this is because i might want to field the warboss by himself on foot one game and i want him to be exactly the same legging as he was before so i could just slide him in the base. Then when i want him to go on a bike, i simply slide the base off and put him there. I just want to know if this is possible.

Ive got many close up pics of both models and it looks very possible. I just want some feedback on if it can be done

If you do not have any of these 2 models and have never tried doing it before, then please dont start guessing and saying it WILL or it WONT fit because i need to know for sure. I do not mind your advice and i will take all advice into concideration.

If there are any people out there that have tried this, please reply to this message!

Thanks everyone

I made my warboss on bike out of the warboss with attack squig and warbiker bits, with Ghaz's power claw.
It was easy enough. I clipped off the loin cloth bit, and he sits easily on the bike. Then I stuck the power claw on upside down to make it be on the right side, bit it looks fine, you can't really notice it. The last thing I did was pop wheels on either side of the guns to make the bike a bit bigger and more impressive. I mounted it on a big base and there ya go, warboss on bike with PK and attack squig.

I don't reccomend the warbiker power claw. It's tiny, and it's going to look ridiculous on the warboss. You could use ghaz's one like I did, or that inquisitor model that has the two cool claws, or convert your own (easier than it sounds) or use a killa kan claw and count it as a cybork body bit.

But yeah, it's an easy an effective conversion, and he will sit nicely without glue as long as you stick him on a large base to balance him. I've got a lot of positive feedback from everyone about the conversion.

I want a much bigger bike for my warboss - will probably use the wartrakk front, and maybe a two wheeled back for a 'trike' look.

some sort of looted jetbike (with such damaged antigrav motors that it drags along the ground and still counts as a normal bike) is also tempting - an ork version of the Master of Ravenwing jetbike would be a laugh

For my warboss on bike (just a one off, for a painting comp) I did his attack squig by just giving him a base and putting a squig on the back of it (actually put a fatasy squig hopper as an Attack Squig and ammo runt)

Many a Sentinel pilot has hesitated to call his vehicle a walking coffin after battling beside a Dreadnought.

2 words... Squig Chariot.

Bitey squigs in the front, just stand the warboss up in the back.

@ Clang: I went a very similar route, for my Warboss' trike at least. I lopped off the back half of the old plastic warbuggy chassis (big clunky engine with radiator!) and mated it with the wartrakk's front bike assembly. This weekend I'll get a general "kitchen sink" style WIP thread going in the P&M forum, so you can see how it's shaping up.

I'd like to see that too. I have been contemplating a "gang style" speed freaks army for some time now and a warboss on a trike with apehanger bars would just be spectacular. after I see what you have done, it will give me some ideas what to do..

But of course, apehangers are standard issue boss wargear! It's tricky to pull off realistic arms though, depending on height of your bars and the rake you go with.

But I figured out a nice (if somewhat fidgety) solution, given that GW doesn't produce arms that are easily retrofitted onto apes, and I don't feel like greenstuffing plain arms. Flesh/muscles take me forever to sculpt, give me metal any day. But seeing as how cybork body is basically standard issue, I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone. Result? A scratch built plastic tubing/guitar string cybork arm, which can conveniently be built up to reach the throttle. Bingo! A terminator-2 style arm that would be employed as a regular flesh and bone arm, not to represent a powerklaw. Helps get the cybork body wysiwyg accomplished. Granted, he still needs a zoggin' huge klaw on the other arm...but now I'm rambling.

I suddenly wish I wasn't at work today, and could get some work done, some fluff written, and some WIP pics posted...

Thanks guys, but could you please give me some tips on making a warboss on a bike without buying extra bits, just a bike and warboss?
