I know this may be a highly discussed and old topic and for that i apologize to administrators and the like but i never really discussed it properly with my friends. What does everyone think about the world of fantasy being in the eye of terror in 40k?

I'm pretty "meh!" about combining the two settings in any way. If anything, I prefer the idea that it's available through the warp, but not easily... So an occasional item might slip through, but there's no chance of an Imperial Battleship ever settling into orbit.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

Up your nose with a rubber hose.

This should really be in the 40K Fluff section. That said, I always liked the theory that Sigmar might be one of the scattered Primarchs.

I believe that a power fist was the prize for a Warhammer Fantasy campaign a few years back (the Albion campaign).

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

Yoor Speeshawl too Gawd!

They actually went back and forth on this. Originally you could have CSM show up in a fantasy game or have one in your retinue if you rolled it on the chart.

Only now do I realize how much I prefer Pete Haines' "misprints" to Gav Thorpe's "brainfarts." :Abadabadoobaddon

I always thought the Warhammer world was an exodite world. Of course, I don't actually play fantasy.

I also kind of enjoy the idea that Sigmar is a lost primarch (it just makes alot of sense, doesn't it? What comet has twin tails? A man-made comet with retro-thrusters!). But now the world is lost in a warp storm and utterly inaccessible, in any way.

Seperate but linked *shrug* kind of a cop-out I guess.

Yeah, once upon a time, the WHFB world was more formally a part of the WH40K universe, but it's been a long, long time since GW has admitted to anything like that. If you delve into the history of the Slaan, that's your best bet for investigating the connections.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Thats the problem with games workshop though. They always suggest things like this with character or race backgrounds but never develop on it. It explains why more and more experienced gamers are becoming dissillusioned (right spelling?) and leaving the hobby.

Plus i dont believe sigmar was a scattered Primarch purely for the fact he could have conquered the world by himself.
