can anybody confirm or deny that the band caliban got it's name from 40k fluff. just curious.

All I know is that the band Bolt Thrower really is/was based in Warhammer, with GeeDub's consent and support. Dunno about Caliban, Wiki doesn't mention warhammer in there ...

haha my mate was in a band called Carnifex yonks ago, wonder if thats the same one you're thinking of?

edit....looked them up on Wiki and no its not the same band, what the hell is "deathcore"?

"Carnifex" is Latin for "executioner," so there's really no implicit 40K reference there.
