Sorry guys, no pic's yet, I dont really have enough done to justify any, Im still amassing parts.
The army list is as follows

Venerable dred
Wolf lord w/ bodyguard
Scout Squad
2x landspeeders
2x Blood claw packs w/ wolf guard leader
Grey hunters with battle leader
all in drop pods

All in all its 1500 pts, 4 scouts, 35 marines, a list that will probibally get demolished, but hey, its all about the fluff on this one,

I have 2 problems in this armies conception, so I pose these to you,
1. The armor variant I am using most closely resembles the MK5 Heresy armor, but I can not for the life of me figure out how to put the studs on the shins, the pattern and material what would work best alludes me, so any help in this area would be welcome.

2. Drop pods, I need 4 drop pods, and would like to not spend 200 dollars on them. Any suggestions for a heresy era drop pod?

since before the heresy the space marines used dreadclaw drop pods you coulod scratch build some of them

ive been thinking about doing it for my WE, with 3 inch diameter pvc, and foamcore...dont know what to use for the detailes and top and bottom though
