I was wondering what you think:

Which is the most fun GW model / set to put together?

I'm personally going for the VC zombies, because it's so fun to give them all minor conversions.

I'd probably go with Ork Boyz - for very much the same reason!

My Dark Angels Command Squad (mixed a command squad with a Dark Angel vet squad). Much the same as already listed... lots of conversions, made sooooooo much easier due to the models all being plastic.

I had fun putting my Space Wolves together. I "decorated" them with a bunch of Ork heads and equipment. I'm hoping my friend can come take some pics this week so I can show all you guys.

Converting Tyranid Warriors is fun, but I'm still exploring the logistics of Chaos Spawn with rare earth magnets...

Converting Marines and Terminators is probably my favorite, although the Carnifex was a blast to build as well. I hate building vehicles.

Oooo, thanks for mentioning that Ungentle.

I also liked when VDR came out, I made up a Land Speeder variant w/ 4 stormbolters to go with the heavy bolter. I LOVED making that model.

My Arch-Heretic conversion. Simple, but effective. Failing that, the Carnifex.

I also enjoyed putting the new Baneblade together. Though I used the directions in WD as opposed to the ones in the box. I found those a lot easier, not too sure why they made up two sets though

Chowderhead - God no. If I said Pirates Honor, I would have had to kill him whether he won or lost.

Not a formal set, but building a pack of mutants (Witch Hunter Adversaries) out of spare parts and a few eBay IG was a lot of fun.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

Love the new Skeletons. Even if they are fiddly, they still look so cool.

But my favorite are zombies. SO easy to convert, and they're loads of fun trying to think up new and convulted ideas for poses, from threatening reaching to unfortunate dead-related 'accidents'. My favorite is still the 'Zombie Veteran' I made.

"He's got a bow, he's got someone's leg, and he's got a cap. He's had to survive a long time to get all that. He's a vet."

And I still have alot of fun assembling plastic canadians. Their little mountie hats make for great dynamic poses.

I would have to go with the Baneblade. I really enjoyed putting that model together. Made me think back to my younger days as a wee Lad, putting my model airplane together.

Stupid glue sticks to me and so does the plane. Then when I think I'm done, my dad asks what are these left over parts? Realizing that my model and the picture are nothing alike.

Ahhhh.... Good times. Good times.

Ork boyz by far.

It is so much fun to build bizzare guns for them out of stuff in your bitz box, and anything goes, so you don't have to censure yourself like with other armies when you convert them.

Man, that's the joy of Anime! To revel in the complete and utter wastefullness of making an unstoppable nuclear-powered combat andriod in the shape of a cute little girl, who has the ability to fall in love and wears an enormous bow in her hair.

Baneblade and Black Templar Initiates. The former because it's the biggest thing I've ever made for either of my armies, and the latter because none are ever the same. Every one is personalized, just like the Knights Templar were with their armor back in the Crusades.

CK

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling, which thinks that nothing is worth war, is much worse. The person, who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
