Like the title says, here in Michigan the weather is warming up, and yard, garden, paintball and fishing start calling my name.
I have not tweeked an army list, or worked on any models for the last two weeks, and just can't motiviate myself to even play on a sunny day. Do the rest of you guys have the same problem?? I love playing 40K, but it tends to go on hiatus, until fall for me.
I hope for a rainy wet day on my weekend just to have an excuse to play

I am looking forward to the demon codex and tweeking my current demons to that. But its a minor thing. Summer and life abound.

We're lucky here in the UK, we don't usually have to worry about this sort of thing, we never have real summers away

I feel the same way but, due to school I have become more and more sedentary. It's harder to get up and go do things when you're on a limited budget, and the nearest large metropolitan area with any tournament sized gaming community is at least 4 hours away :(

Oh well!

I live in Florida, where summer is the "indoor" season.

That reminds me, I need to get all my priming done before the Rain starts.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

Los Angeles

Here in Los Angeles, its sunny almost all the time so summer isn't all that different from fall or spring (although winter tends to be a bit cloudy) so I can't say I've ever really had that problem. Regardless, sometimes getting out and getting some fresh air and maybe even a bit of *gasp* sunlight might do you (and me and a lot of other people) some good. If that has to be done at the expense of 40k, so be it.

Edit: I love how the dakka glossary (something I love by the way) makes it look like the name of my city is Line Of Sight Angeles

I live in So Cal where the weather is almost always great. I spend a ton of time outdoors exercising and relaxing regularly regardless of the season.

@Iorek, this last December we actually had alot of rain and I learned that rain and priming do not mix.

Hmm, in texas we get a little chuck of everyones weather but its never the fun parts about it. Gets kinda cold, but there is no snow! Gets really hot...and its really hot! and the weather is never very predictable.

Snow is a substance of legend, so rare in fact that many in the southern states believe it to be a fake term. Made by the yankees during the civil war to demoralize and ultimately seal the fate of the CSA.

Yea, I am feeling kind of guilty that I am not getting the amount of painting and modeling I am accustomed to done. All of this planting and fighting is killing my productivity.
Ahh well, it will be cold and miserable, or hot, humid and miserable, in Pa before I know it.

And in a little over a month it will be too hot to be outdoors!
