Well guess I'll kick off my Wood elf army Log here then. I'm basing it around autumn and generally very dead looking basing, with a hint of autumns touch to it. I do want a touch of "end times" to it, I'm sucker for cheesy stuff, so bear with me. Anyway, the color scheme for the elves is basicly just different browns, from a dark base brown to a almost white cloth. I'm using 90% Foundation paints for this army too, just to put the paints through some better inspection. I like 'em so far.

So, to kick off, the Lord choise(at least untill I construct the next Treeman, if he gets bigger and better, he'll supplant this guy.

Treeman Ancient.

Should have some dryads up shortly. Look out for some Vampires as well.

Cheers.

i really like the treeman like this. to me the normal model now is crap compared to what it could/should be. you've done a nice job of making him look less ent-ish and more like wood that came together to make a human form. also i love the guy he's holding, nice little touch there. hope to see more tree spirits from you soon!

Amazing detail on the base, nice simple color scheme on the treeman. Great job!

how did you do that treeman? is he totally scratched? Thats awesome, I have bought a stack of Welves and am waiting for inspiration before cracking on with them. Wood Elves were always my favourites but the wait for the last lot to come out was too long and I kinda drifted away from them.

I would have painted my treeman sooner if it had looked
like that.

Dryad tester, I'm using the loincloth to mark units by using different colors.

Oooh, I like that dryad. The smaller areas of grey and larger areas of red compared to the treeman work better for me.

Wood Elf log, heh

That treeman is really something, great work. I like the dryad too, particularly the "glowy tattoo" bits.
