Has anyone tried converting pathfinders
to snipers with ghillie suits like this?
If so, how can this be done? Please shed some light, thx!

I personally own a ghillie suit like that (thank you iraq!), but I'm hard pressed to think of a good modeling material for it.

Would flocking the model itself with static grass work?
Or just a static grass base with a gun sticking out

That would be a lot easier than green stuff, but to make it more realistic don't forget to give it a suit made out of tissue paper and watered down PVA glue, and then flock that. A tissue suit is generally what modellers with Tamiya models use for cloth, as its realistic although delicate.

Drake_Marcus: It's true- that's why the Space Wolves love termie armour so much. The whole "bear" thing they've got going on is just a thinly veiled cover-up of their huge, hairy cleavage. |

You can use a small square of cheese cloth or a small square bandage. That will have the mesh pattern you want and with a little bit of glue, should drape nicely. Might want to stain it dark green first before you put it on though - I may just have to experiment with that

try using blue shop paper towels, and pva glue. Then use a little dead grass static grass, and a little craft moss to give it the blended look. The craft moss comes in a bag, here is a project that uses it ( http://www.diyguitarist.com/Models/TT-Side1.JPG)

shoot if the ghillie suit is that good, all you need to do is make a base with terrain on it and the barrel of the weapon is all you need to add.
