Hi All! Im new here. Learned about the site listening to the D- Generation. Yay.

Im working on fielding an Angel Army based on the new Deamon Book. Im looking for models that will make good "Good" substitutions for the current ones. I have a few in mind so far, such as Empire Flagellants as Zealots, in place of horros.

Im looking for perhaps Lions to replace Hounds.
For Nurglings I want to do small babies/children/kittens/puppies on bases. They are tough to find though.
Been looking at the confrontation lines, ESPECIALLY the Lions, for my Khorne/ Nurgle core choices. Sadly though it appears I can only order from overseas in Euros and pay for that shipping. Weak.
Characters Im taking from the Reaper line, Such as the Avatar of Aurellius for a Bloodthirster. The Deva Angel which I painted, will work awesome as something for Tzneetch.
Reaper also has some cool Faeries Im thinking of for for Furies.


Any ideas from other people would be awesome.

The High Elf range has lions fo their chariots, very nice models indeed.

fantastic idea. Reaper has tons of angels, some quite good, I recommend them.

I painted up a bunch as christmas ornaments to give out a few years back.

Also check out West Wind's lucifer Wars line for all your angel and demon needs.

The Sisters of Sigmar from the Mordheim range could work as all kinds of stuff. Different colored trim on their clothes or different banners could denote the various gods. And you could add wings to them, like maybe from the Warmaster range. All you'd have to do is bits ord.....

Yeah, im still more than a little peeved about not being able to order bits. But I make do...

What I really am looking for is rank and file troops, and in this army only the characters fly, well aside from the furies, but I have plans for them....

Whats a Sanguinius? I actually picked one up and got it painted two nights ago.. Came out pretty good. He will make a good bloodthirster.

1- Yeaaaahhh.... Blood Angels Chapter.... Im gonna go on a limb here and assume thats a 40k thing. Aside from thinking the Necrons are pretty cool, and if, IF, IF I ever got into 40k, bloody unlikely though it may be, they would be cool as some Cthluhu kinda conversion army. Otherwise, I know very little about the 40k verse. Oh, and that the emperor is some kinda head in a jar.

2- Those Heresy Minis are pretty awesome. That Avenger is yes, very cool. I also like the Paladin minis they had. I may have to place an order. Too bad they are listed in English Pounds, and the 'Merican dollar aint wut it used ta be.

I was gonna mention the Heresy fig too. I can recommend you give them a go, great company and Andy seems a nice guy.
