I've been using a paintier for a couple of years now. But, with the release of the foundation paints last year, and the upcoming new washes, I didn't have enough spaces and my desk started getting cluttered again.

So, I ordered a second set of tiers and emailed Ben, who designed and sells the tier system, and he was able to custom cut me some spacers so that I could get six trays stacked, enough spaces to hold the full citadel range + foundations + washes + inks.

So, this is just a shout-out to let others know that Ben's willing to do a little custom work to accomodate the needs of his customers, which is nice to see. (And, I can't speak highly enough of the paintier system either).

I recently bought and built a few of these and love them. I have the vellejo suit case so I paint mostly from that but the rest of my common paints are in these and are very easy to access and find the colors. Not to mention they fit all types of bottles.

It's totally appropriate to use your niece as a paint "organizer".

I prefer racks.

I just got mine today and it was a breeze to assemble and I am VERY happy with it. Thanks for the recommendation Redbeard.
