Hey guys I've been trying to come up with a way to make a psycannon conversion for my Witchhunters Allied Deamonhunter Inquisitor. Unfortunatly everything I make comes out looking a bit orky... (I am an ork player at heart...)
Does anyone have any ideas for converting a psycannon?
Also, any good ideas out there for converted gun servitors? I have Heavy bolters from the imolator kits... if this helps
I also have bits from Orks, Tau, sisters, and necrons

The existing models for the psycannon, just look like a barrel off of a heavy bolter mounted to a blockish casing, you might try using the one of the ammo drum from those immolator heavy bolters cause it has interesting details. Then all you need is cables to connect it to a power pack.
OR
Otherwise you might try modifying a leftover necron rifle, cut the tip/barrel off the gun and glue it to the main part of the weapon, in other words leave the green thing off and connect the parts. Obviously, remove the necron arm, and add cables.
The most common conversion I've seen for servitors is to take Catachan guardsmen or other suitably human miniature mount the weapon instad of an arm, add power packs and cables.

For my Inq with Psy-Cannon I used the Coteaz model, a pintle-mounted stormbolter, and a sword arm from the new Dev-Squad kit.
I also use space marine scouts as acolytes. The HB toting Scout would make a fine acolyte carrying his Inq's Psy-Cannon.

Inquisitor with psycannon
This model was made from of a Dark Angel Veteran body, 6th edition Empire Captain head, CSM heavy bolter and arms, a Tau burst cannon, a SM Scout Heavy Bolter ammo hopper, Grimaldus' backpack, some SM shoulder pads, and a couple of BT bits.
Gun Servitor with plasma cannon
This model was made from a Grimaldus Cenobyte body, a plasma cannon from the plastic Dev kit, electrical wire, and a SM Servitor arm.
Here are some earlier WIP pics of the Inquisitor.

Nice conversions Koyote. What thickness cork did you use for them to stand on? And where did you get it from?
Thanks

The cork is about 1/8" thick. I bought a 2' x 6' roll of it from the office/art supply section of a local department store. It is used to make bulletin boards.
Here's the rest of the retinue:
Inquisitor and Retinue (Sage, Gun Servitor, Mystic, Inquisitor, Hierophant, Acolyte, Sage)

Looks like he's carrying an assault cannon...
You know many players use the burst cannon as an alternative to assault cannons, yes?

Thanks. The Interrogator (Acolyte) is a fun addition to the retinue.
The Interrogator is made from a Bretonnian Grail Pilgrim body, a joint hub from an IG Sentinel, a plastic Catachan las pistol, and one of Fabius Bile's chiurgeon arms.
He has a brother made from another Pilgrim body and Fabius' other Chiurgeon arm.

The retinue and inquisitor are impressive. I might have to try out that Plasma Cannon Servitor myself.
Have you found it to be worth it in game?

I found that the psycannon and plasma cannon compliment one another nicely. Both have the same range and are fairly effective against light vehicles and infantry. The two Sages give the plasma cannon the option for a re-roll to hit, which helps to avoid overheating. Also, the plasma cannon + Mystic combo makes the unit lethal against Deep Striking infantry.
Of course 5e is going to change this...
