I was surprised these weren't posted already, but a search didn't turn them up. I'm slacking my duty, again, and Ghaz didn't bail me out this time!
First off, we have a would-be tiefling rogue with twin daggers. Nice for a daemon army that would like something a bit less ugly-emo-girl-with-breasts-hanging-out than the new daemonettes. Also, she has a tail. This one's by Derek Schubert
Next up, Barbarian with a AXE [sic]. He has horns on his head and a skull on one kneepad, so that relegates him to Chaos status forever. Tre Manor gives us this one, and while he's been sculpting a little while, this is one of his first (well, 16th) offering for Reaper.
I once said that Werner Klocke could make anything sexy, if he only sculpted it. Soon afterwards, he offered us some of the
most awesome female dwarf models ever. Now, he's back to doing his thing, only this time, there's a gnome involved. The best part, for me, is that I'm not going to D&D 4th edition, so this is still playable for me. For
GW, of course, you need to come up with your own excuse to share the pretty.
For those of you who thought the new
GW daemonettes were just far too dressed for your preference, Bob Ridolfi has another option for you: totally-naked-winged-chick! Now, with even more disproportionate breast-to-waist ratios! Be the envy of fanboys everywhere when this Succubus Temptress rends through your foes!
I can't remember the last time that I saw a Reaper green by Julie Guthrie, but I'm glad to see one now! Her elven cleric is appropriately androgynous for an elf, and has a weapon that I think I'm going to have to paint before I can decide what it actually is! (It wasn't until after researching a teensy bit that I realized Julie Guthrie's actually had new models in the last three Greens updates. I'm just not paying attention - bad razormage!)
If you're like me, you're very saddened that only one model in the
GW line has a great wooden tiki-style mask. That's why, if you're like me, you clapped your hands with glee when you saw this Bloodstone Gnome by Chaz Elliott! It packs a mean punch, but behind a huge mask! (And by "clapped your hands with glee", I mean "maybe cracked just a bit of a smile at the concept". This is the internet, after all.)
Of course, all this gnome posting is making me start to wonder if I want my gnomes to be illusionists, make things explode, or remind me of ANCIENT AZTEC CULTURE!! I thought for sure that the last one was just one of those typical out-there suggestions, but Chaz Elliott's Bloodstone Gnome Matron makes a convincing argument otherwise! Well, unless you're not fond of ancient South American civilizations.
Did I mention the fact that she's wielding a SPIKED ROLLING PIN? Come on people! That's exciting enough that it's even got me typing in all caps. Twice, in one post!
Now then, this next mini offers all kinds of things you need to fill the void in a modernist model collection (or maybe an
IG army). Girl? Check. Tank top? Check. Tight pants? Check. Knee-high boots that will obviously need help taking them off? Check. Gun? Check. Oh, wait, what if I need one with a giant wrench? CHECK, TOO! Bob Ridolfi's Chronotechnician comes with everything you want, including a utility belt. And optional hydro-spanner.
There, joy has been shared! Talk amongst yourselves. I'll give you a topic: Bloodstone Gnomes have bloody stones, not crystal skulls. Discuss!
