I've been working on a space marine army for some time now.
Unfortunatly for them, my imagination and previous battle reports have caused them to undergo several severe changes.

In one of my last battles, an entire Blood Raven company was lured into a trap.
Their mission was to exterminate a renegade imperial guard regiment, commanded by a chaos sorcerer. It was only after a battle that raged for several days that a scout regiment found out that the sorcerer was the last survivor of a defeated chaos horde, brought there for questioning.
But the damage was already done and the adeptus sororitas were on their way.

Dozens of Blood ravens where slaughtered when the imperial guard and the sisters of battle joined forces.
Only a few of them managed to escape. With several inquisitorial battlecruisers in persuite, The surviving commander of the Blood Raven company knew that the only way to survive was by taking an enormous risk and steer their ship straight through the warp.

When they came out again, the entire army had changed dramatically.
Under the influence of one of the chaos gods, the air inside their spaceship mixed with a powerful hallucinogenic drug, leaving the entire crew and the remaining Blood Ravens vulnerable for the gentle whispering of slaanesh.
After a 2 day lasting trip in the warp, the space marines had decided to follow ancient gods that ruled the galaxy long before terra was freed from the warp storms. They swore an oath that they would dedicate their life to achieve perfection in every possible way so that they could one day re-awaken these gods and ultimately join them.
.
And here are a few pics to show you guys the changes they've gone through. ^^
I know the quality is terrible, but the only camera available was the one in my cell phone.
Better pics will follow, as soon as I get my hands on something better.

this is Doci Rikimaru. Leader of the Pre-Ori
equiped with a force weapon, he leads his army through the universe as he spreads the word of origin. The holy codex, dictated to him by the godly Ori themself while they travelled through the warp.

This is lt. Mikta. The first marine truly blessed by the Ori.
A few days after he had a terrible nightmare, he grew himself a tail.

This is one of my bikers.

The techmarines responsible for the maintenance of Dreadnought Caligula where heavily under the influence of a halucinogenic drug when they decided to completely repaint this former hero.
The combination of their betrayal and his blue and pink armor, covered in lovely symbols from days long past sometimes overwhelms him. When this happens, he completely looses himself in a terrible rage, causing him to shoot everything he got at a single unit or storm straight towards them, insanily ripping his foes appart with his mechanical claw.

During their stay in the warp, the crewmembers of this predator found themself trapped in it's belly while an invisible force sealed every entrance and completely took control.
Although this predator looks like he could collapse any minute now, he proofs himself to be far more useful than when he was still properly maintained.

Some sidenotes: Sorry for any grammatical or spelling mistakes. I'm foreign and not used to speak english.

And for those who like my backstory and would like to read more about it:
I'm planning to make a fictional diary, concerning Lt. Mikta's stay in the warp and his adventures in the next campaign i'm going to play with some friends of mine.
Let me know you're interested and I'll put it online.

This are the sharpest pictures I could take. :(
But it should give you an overall idea.

In a few weeks, me and some friends will play our first games.
A real camera will be available then. Hopefully I can show some figures in detail.

Does your camera have a macro feature? If you don't know,
look for a setting that looks like a little flower. The macro
setting allows you to take pictures of fine detail like writing
on a page, the petals on a flower, and skulls on a GW figure.

If you don't have the macro setting, step back from the models and use the zoom. This should allow the auto focus to work. that is the only think I can think of if you don't have a macro setting.

Thanks for the tip.
I've tried it out, but it didn't work either.
Image stays sharp, until I actually take the picture.
Then it gets blurry again.

I finally managed to get my hands on a decent camera.
Unfortunatly, the paintjobs seems to be extremely crappy after using a flash and macro-zoom.
So, don't be to hard on the painting part
after all, it's the idea that counts. ^^

This is my dreadnought Caligula.

An unfinished sgt. with personal icon and mutated mouth A.K.A a doom Siren.

My demon infested predator " Raven "

A noise marine.
Slaanesh blessed this bolter, sending a lesser demon to inhabit it.
His screams emit the same waves as a sonic blaster.

Another noise marine.
Same blessing, different outcome.

Doci Rikimaru, Chaos sorcerer

One of my deamonettes.
