Last weekend I impulsively bought some plague marines. Now that I have them home and base coated I'm at a complete and total loss. I tried using goblin green, snot green, graveyard earth, and even just straight black but they will not come out looking 'right'. To be honest my drybrushing skills are weak. But my detail work up to this point has been flawless leading to anything that doesn't require a lot of drybrushing that I've painted to look great. But now that I'm trying to paint these plague marines I can't live with them as is.

So my plea for help is, how do I go about painting these? Do I need to just flub them for exp? Is there some kind of step by step out there that will produce decent looking Nurgle guys? Is there a specific skill set I should be practicing? Any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Our man GoatboyBBMA has come up with a nice little tutorial for Plague Marines that was posted up on BoLS. Check it out here

I just finished formating the dakka ones some. So they should be even easier to follow.

PM Goatboy with your thanks! He's the one who took the time out of his day to make em!
