Hi all,

Ive been lurking around these forums for awhile, figured I would finally register today. Anyways, Im trying to make my IG army look different than the standard outta the box army. Any advice on places to buy bits? Ive found lots of heads and a few different weapons choices, Im really looking for torso/body armor bits, and different legs. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it..

Whatever is shown in the picture, in conjunction with the description, is what you get.

If the description says 4 elephant trunks and the pic shows 4 elephant trunks, then you're buying 4 elephant trunks.

BWB does not sell assembled items. Are you looking at the "painted models for sale". That is an entirely different section from Warstore's BWB section.

A quick phone call or e-mail to Warstore is probably the best way to get information on their products.

Hope you find what you need.

I've used virtually off the GW human and elf kits at one time or another for IG.

The problem is guns, when I did most of these projects BW bitz was not around so there was no cheap sourse of lasguns. So I used Dragon 1/35 modern weapon kits.

Here are high elf archers with nhuman heads

And Empire Militia

And Bretonian archers

And my new favorite models in the world, Bret Men at arms with Pig Iron heads

Hope this helps.

A great way is to pick a Theme. Some examples could be modern day american soldiers, british redcoats, WWI germans, Scottish Highlanders, or a theme of your own creation. Just think of an Army or society that impresses you with its appearance and/or battlefield prowess. Alternatively, you could make something you've always wanted to manifest into something real. It could be an armor design you've thought of, or attire that you think looks appealing. An idea like this will really inspire you and keep you interested (added bonus, as procrastination will plague production if you aren't into it enough). Once you've figured it out, tell us and we can be more help from there.

@KK - you should get a set of GW washes - they'd do wonders for you!

More than that, I need the time and energy to use them.

And the patience to actually finish a paintjob before jumping into the next conversion.

But thank you.
