Death-Dealing Ultramarine Devastator

im wondering what everyone here does with this kit...
do you all glue the rider onto the mount?
or pin him on so that he is removable?
or magnetize him?
im trying to figure out the best way to have him secure, but also safe for transport

Haven't gotten the kit yet myself, but I was intending on pinning the rider myself.

I haven't assembled the wizard rider yet, but the prince at least sits very firmly and removes easily without a pin. Mine is also equipped with a halberd, a lance might change the center of gravity slightly but I'd bet if would still hold nicely.

I've been going back to High Elves (my original first army from waaaay back), and on the dragon, I prefer to either use magnets or something else that allows me to remove the rider. I didn't do that with my last 2 High Elf Dragons (of course that was 5 and 10 years ago respectively) and it makes it easier to swap riders or remove the rider if he's killed, etc.

Pins are okay, but do wear over time. Magnets are great- just use tiny ones. Either way, the repeated handling will wear on the paint and deposit oils, etc.

i used a magnet so I can swap between mage or lord.
nice kit, I especially liked all the extras, I was able to make a few elven characters just by adding legs.

It is a very easy kit to magnetize. I put a large rare-earth magnet in the dragon's neck before assembly. I put the Prince legs & torso together, and put a smaller magnet in his crotch. I put a magnet in the crotch of the mage legs, and further magnets in the bottom of each mage torso.
Now I can field Prince, Mage-lord or Fire-mage as needed.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.
