Sweet....I just picked up another Baneblade to hack up and make me a Stormlord.
Aside from spending like a thousand pounds on a bit from FW, who has an idea on the creation of a Vulcan Mega Bolter.
I was thinking of strapping a dozen (exaggerating) AC's together, but I really don't think it will have the same acsthetic effect.
Also it states that its open topped for purposes of embarking and disembarking...but is the back truly enclosed or not...I think t has to be or it would end up looking orky...not that there is anything wrong with that.......

My plan is to leave the turret assembly exactly as is, but cut out the front end so it's opened up scoop like with doors into the section under the turret. Since it's opened topped for the pruposes of embarking/disembarking only and only 20 people can use that as firing, I assume That it's only partially opened.
Will it look the same as the picture in the book? Not really. Will it look cool? I think so.
As to how to build a mega-bolter, I'd go with 6 Guard Heavy bolters glued in a Circle.

Good Luck with that tank! I am picking up two more Monoliths to convert into Pylons. I guess I could use those left-over Monoliths walls to build some fantastic pyramids for a Necron Tomb World themed table.

lol, I get on avrage 6 project out a day granted I dont sleep alot or have a job atm. =p
Unfortunatly, (for modeling and gaming purposes ONLY) I have two jobs, three kids(two of them a set of 4 week old boys) a wife, yardwork and renovation(just bought a house) and to top it all off....my MOTHER is staying with us to help with he babies.
I miss painting, but I miss sleep more!
