I am currently making a Stompa for my Orks. I am almost done, except for the arms. I just heard that there is a new kind of stompa in the Apoc. Reloaded book and I am wondering if I should arm my stompa differently.

Is this new stompa simply a weapons swap like the other two, or is it quite a bit different? Still 4 stucture points? Same size?

The Reloaded Stompa is a true beast in close combat, with an attendant reduction in its shooting ability. If you want to make one, you will want CC-looking arms and similar attachments as opposed to guns.

Nice, I won't be able to use that as mine is already done, but I am happy that orks get a CC walker, as some other races have got them.

Chaos still needs a 2 TCCW Warhound, IMHO.

Many a Sentinel pilot has hesitated to call his vehicle a walking coffin after battling beside a Dreadnought.

Question: I read the rules for STOMPAS but they seem to be more rules for Gargants. They seem to have way to many gunz and stuff for a Stompa. (I guess since Epicast stompas and armorcast gargants I make a distinction for them)

Have Stopmaz become a catch-all term for any large ork titan? Because My Stompa models don't seem to have anywhere close to the needed guns to fit the rules.

The two APOC stompas have big weapons on the arms, but the other guns are smaller, regular sized weapons that can be pretty easily converted/stuck on.

My Stompa is about 11" tall. Comparable to a warhound.

I have the following:

So I am trying to figure out what 'counts as' rules are best. It sounds like the Stompa rules are for the gargant model and that stompaz are too small to count as anything. Any ideas?

The Epicast Stompas are actually about the right size to be stompas, and have roughly the right weapons loadouts.

If those trees are the size I think they are, the Gargant is big enough to be... well, a gargant.

Sure there's no official rules for one, but you know roughly what they're capable of, just right up your own set using the Reaver as a rough guide.

I might be offbase here, but I think Bell of Lost Souls has a set of Gargant rules.

The supply does not get to make the demands.
