I am soon starting an army and i am wondering which one. I kind of want an army that i can model and use a lot of green stuff. I am also going to do cool bases. For whfb i want a magic army.

Nobody else can tell you which army you're going to enjoy building or using.

Your best bet is to wander into a store, have a look through the model ranges and the codexes, and pick the one that appeals the most.

If you're more into modeling than competitive playing, pick the army with the models you like the most.

ive been doing that for a while and ive narrowed the decisions. Im just getting an idea of what else would be fun

WoC's magic was pretty gimped and is a shadow of its former self.

I dont think that he does. If he did, he would have made an attempt to tell us.

Anyway, horde armies seem to be a bit nerfed for beginners in 40k. Depending on how long you have been playing, the increase in kill points seems to do more damage than their other bonuses can make up for. If you can play them well though, theres nothing stopping them from being very powerful.
And now for my opinion - In order to save the world from MEQ overload, I'm going to go for Eldar.

If you really want to be using a lot of green stuff go with CSM or Nids. They have more opportunities to really get some good modeling use out of the GS. There are some awesome conversions you can do with the Chaos Spawn models, which look incredible. Some extra bitz, GS, and a box of Chaos Spawn magically gets you two obliterators for the price of one. Nids have a lot of potential to craft them some very gooy looking stuff but I'm not really into them, horde army and all. If you already play orks and want a drastic change of pace, I'd say CSM. Low model, a lot of modeling can be done too.

Play the comedy 4-model Tzeentch army.

As there's only 4 models, you can really go to town on conversion work.

i saw this awesome cities of death eldar army at my gaming store. I am thinking about doing snow cities of death with eldar sneaking arround in rubble

Is there any reason why you've chosen to post six times in a row with one-liners? I'd take a look at the forum rules regarding spamming if I were you.

As for your army, no-one can tell you what to choose, it's a very personal thing. I second the motion to read the codexes and see which jumps out at you. Sounds like eldar at the moment.
