Has there been any word on where the semi-finals are going to be held? The webpage still says "at select locations", and I've heard a rumor that the semi in Ohio will be in cincinatti, not in Cleveland, which would piss me off the point of of not going. Has anybody heard anything?

Hi Polonius (and other interested parties)
The Trade team are just wrapping up the final locations and we should have the info to post online tomorrow.

Come on Polonius. A lot of other people have to drive to various locations to play. You would be better staying home anyways because quite a few Toledoans will be attending, plus possibly Kevin Kirby (last year's winner).

That's my point. I'll drive across town to get worked in three straight games, but going across the state to do the same is just masochistic. I can save time and gas money.
Edit: Yeah, I guess I should make it clear that I'm not annoyed by having to drive (that's part of tournaments), but after backing into third place in a five man qualifier, I'm pretty sure i'm going to giving out Massacres like they're beads at Mardi Gras in the Semis.

I guess I could have been clearer... I figure I'm going to be giving my opponents full massacre points while I get zero. I doubt I'll get shutout three times in a row, but I rarely win RTTs, so I know I'm out of my depth in the Semis.

Our local store, KrystalKeep in Dayton, Ohio, is pretty certain they are one of the regional locations. It sure would be nice not to have to drive. Five players from our club qualified at regional events however, so at least two of us will be headed out of town...

Well, they appear to be up! Based on the page, it appears you can go to whatever semi you'd like, assuming there is space?
Edit: Got beat to it by two seconds. Blast!
Interestingly, there is no Cleveland one or Detroit one. I guess I'm going to Pittsburgh!

My crew will probably split between Pittsburgh and Kettering, Ohio.
Michigan, Indiana, Ilinois, Kentucky, Tennesee and Georgia are all gonna have some traveling to do, just to mention the states closest to Ohio. How many folks wanna come to KrystalKeep in Kettering? We've got a really nice store. They are also running the Marauders Mayhem tournament that same day so there will be 60-80 Fantasy players as well. I think we'll be busy with terrain building...

Why the heck does the whole midwest only have two 'ard boyz semis (middle-wisconsin and southern ohio) when states like FL have three all to themselves. This is just ridiculous.

My question would be why doesn't each state have it's own Semi???? At 3 players qualifying at each store there's no way a store could handle the numbers from a 3-4 state area.
Pi$$ poor planing IMHO.

For Minnesota, Misty Mountain games has BY FAR the most space not only for a game store in this state, but any of many states I have lived in.
It should have been held at Misty Mountain Games Burnsville.
Since Neil has moved Phoenix games to a new considerably smaller location than his already not so big store, I think The choice wasn't a wise one.
