Yep

Ok, so i was really wanting to play a sisters of battle army, but i did not want it to be like anyone elses(typical).

I was reading the codex and the sisters of battle used to be called the emperor's daughters. Would it be possible that right as the horus herracy started, tehy got called back to terra to assist in the war efforts, but on the way there astropath died, causing them to get lost in the warp, finally emerging now. To them it only seemed a year.

How does that sound to you guys, i would convert the models to look old and such.

That sounds fine.

Although, you really don't have to justify why an historical force is still around. People do heresy-era armies all the time, so people are used to it. Why not just say that this is an historical 40K army? There's no reason to place it in the "present," so to speak.

Man, that's the joy of Anime! To revel in the complete and utter wastefullness of making an unstoppable nuclear-powered combat andriod in the shape of a cute little girl, who has the ability to fall in love and wears an enormous bow in her hair.

Yep

Well the reason i was wanting to justify them being in the present was because they would be fighting things that might have been changed or invented since the time they were supposed to be around, and that would destroy the time line or something.... i think.

historical force may serve better.
daughters of the emperor are founded by the ecclesiarchy After Heresy.
SoB are descendants of the daughters.

Would be nice to see "older" sisters.

It will be fine as long as you don't cross the streams.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Cool concept, would be a fun army to play too if you put in weapons limits etc to fit your theme.

The Ecclesiarchy didn't exist pre heresy as the emporer was against any form of worship to any god and it was a crime to worship him. Thus the adepta soritas/ emporers daughter/sob didnt exist. However you could do early post heresy or a force unlinked to the SOB just using the same rules.

Firefox has spell check? I think people use the site's spell check and not their attitude to find spelling mistakes.

But yeah that sound like a neat idea, time travellin' sisters
