People just don't want this to die, do they? That's the third company to produce these(that I know of).

This was mentioned a while ago... As far as I am aware Mongoose will keep doing rules but this puts the minis back in production.

The ACTA community was pretty depressed when Mongoose closed up their mini production and I don't know if this will reinvigorate it. It may depend on the mini quality: If they're aggressive about replacing molds as they say they are this could be a good thing.

I wonder if the deal with Mongoose includes any 'new stuff' like replacing the (generally poor) Armageddon-class ships?

The capital ships are all the larger of the two scales. The fighters are fleet action scale. Combining the two looks good on the tabletop.

that is great news, but the prices are pretty crazy. Sharlin for $20? no thanks. Usualy there is no discount on Ironwind stuff either...
