Hey does anyone have Vraks 2? I am curious about the servants of slaughter - are they like a lost and damned list or is that the khorne marine list?

It is basically the same mutants and heretics (IG) list from IA volume 5, but with the format of the army list updated for 5th edition (options given per unit instead of a central wargear list as with other recent codices).

Beyond that, a few new CSM Khorne units are added into the list to represent the increased support of the CSM on Vraks.

So basically it is just traitor guard with a few special rules, a few unique units and a few CSM units allowed.

yakface's 40K rule #1: Although the rules allow you to use modeling to your advantage, how badly do you need to win your toy soldier games?
yakface's 40K rule #2: Friends don't let friends start a MEQ army.
yakface's 40K rule #3: Codex does not ALWAYS trump the rulebook, so please don't say that!

And it gives us a good look at what the eventual Imperial Guard Codex might look at.

What was more interesting however was the Red Scorp list, basically taking the existing Marine list but keeping the Trait for Apothecaries. It's a good thing to have for all those people who built armies around squad-based Apothecaries who have had their armies rendered illegal by the new Codex.

Hmm, but are these apothecaries that give FNP or just ignore a failed save?
