hi im a new member and i wanted some feedback on some fluff im thinking about for a imperial guard army. so here's my fluff
my IG army is from the planet of merposa, if you know where thats from you know where im going. the planet is ruled by noble disended from an inquisitor who saved the planet from a chaos cult and the people were so grateful that they made him the leader of the planet. so anyways the planet is rulled by a bunch of inquisitors. where our story begins a young inquitor noble named alica degul was invesitgateing disapearences in vilages serounding the largest forest on the planet when she and her bodyguard were captured by a rouge admech biologest. who had gone coocoo after finding a dungons and dragons monster manual in the great library on terra and belived that it was an anchent biology textbook. so he thought that in ancent times like ancent romean times humanity drove these cretures extinct, so he wanted to bring back these cretures and make humanity pay for its sins. so he created forced evilutinary serum that turned people into the monsters in the book. so he used his servitors to kidnap people to use in his experiments. which brings us to alica who was turned into a medusa. her disapearence started a masive search by the whole nobility of merposa looking for her about 12 inquisitor lords and 50 normal inquisitors. it only took them a day to find her and when she was rescued they thought they could kill her for being a mutant. she was family they whent to the local ponticace and asked him to declair the experimants abhuman and thus not subject to extermination. so now she is in charge of most of the experiments who feel that they need to repent by serving the emporor in the IG.

loads of powerfull mutant monsters ?
isnt the focus of ig on massive numbers rather than a few monstrous creatures

well actualy the different monsters count as ig units. like for example the medusa is the comander, the werewolfs are the comanders retinue, the shifters are the basic infantry. also this is planed as part of an apocalypse army (probably should have mentioned that.) so some of them are planed as other imperial units like the dopleganger who counts as a Callidus Assassin and the harpys count as Seraphim. also they are only a part of the army (probably should have mentioned that also.) think about it if all you had were a few units of servitors how many people could you kidnap before the planitary government noticed something was up and sent someone, even if you captured them that would only lead to 11 more prisoners. then you get caught so i would bet i could get about 50 people because i would only go after small groups moving along remote forest roads. so then even if all of them joined the PDF then only about 40 of them would actualy be on the board the rest are in support roles. so that one unit of werewolfs and the medusa comander, a Platoon of other assorted monsters, and a unit of harpys and then the rest of the army is regular humans. also i apologize for the longwinded posts its just theriputic for me to share my ideas.

i like the idea and you could make conversions wich could represent the abhumans and use the medusa as a hq. also, you could use them in a latd army

already working on the conversion ideas im thinking of using the lamarian vampire (the one on foot with the snake) as the base for the medusa. im using the snake as the armband which is the reason that the cog boy dicided to turn her into a medusa. i was thinking of using the hounds of orion as the head for the werewolf comand squad and if i get lucky this crismas i will use the bodys from the death kops as the body and put the helmets on the hound heads. when i get this project started in december or maybe earlyer on the medusa i will post it.
by the way i just realized i should have posted this under fiction instead of fluff but in my defence i thought the rest of the page was for other games at the time. my bad
