As with everything you do I love them.

Most of all the standard bearer, and the use of different shades of greys/browns you make them all different yet unified at the same time.

I need more

Nice Usage of the forgeworld bitz. I like the dirty look, but am not a fan of the grey on brown scheme they have.

F you and all your incredible work!!! It pisses me off and inspires me. Keep up the awesome work. My own latd/ork army is still in the collecting phase...should be there for only another year or two!

Great work and keep posting.

Very effective, very evocative. I like the color scheme, and the dramatic use of red. These guys really do look lost and damned and traitorous.

The grays and browns are hit and miss with people. I went with several different shades of browns and greys and green-greys and even some camo gree (washed with devlan mud to kill the brightness). I basically tired of painting warriors in bright "shoot me" colors and wanted it to appear that while they are a unit, they scavenge and steal thier clothing and equipment.

Great job on making all the models blend in the same unit, it's not obvious that you have also looted your bitsbox!

These are the very very very humble beginnings of some traitor Stormtoopers. I plan to add some trophies to them and of course GS the gaps and maybe add an odd mutation here or there. I'm also trying to work on some odd or crooked postures, but right now they look lame.. may scratch that idea or they may improve as I flesh out the conversions some.

I used FW "enforcers" for the torso and head. They heads will definitely be red metals mixed with some silver/bronze armour pieces to make them stand out even more from the standard troops.

Send me any ideas on how to creep these guys up a little. .... they need some creep factor!

Nemmmmmmmmmmmmmmms man I should come to Dakka more often, my favorite dudes are all up to new tricks ...

Rocking stuff as always. While the WIP trooper dudes are cool as catachan vs cadian like the grunts, you're right they came out a bit meh. Which could be fixed with paint I'm guessing, tats and all that, and the uniform-ish look isn't so bad for these elite lads. The real thing for me are those few awkward poses - "crooked" like you say - kinda weirdly hunched over.

heys Boss_Salvage! I kept thinking I could do something with the strange postures, but the more I think on it the more I realize I need to reposition a few of them.

The lasguns are going to be converted to represent Hellguns. This was just the sticking the body parts together portion of the project

Here is a small update to show how I have started on the cables and the small armour plates. I will be adding some more amour details, but this is what I have atm. I will also be making some additions/changes to the guns of course.

let me know what you think.

I agree that maybe I should do the "carbine look". I think that will be my next step. here are some updates after they have been slightly chaosified. still WIP though.

The chain was ordered online from http://ozarkminiatures.com/Scripts/default.asp

It is a model railroad type company , but they have perfect chain for minis.

Thank you, I've been looking for suitable chain for so long to give my RR reins, and to add to vehicles for sheer coolness.
