well.... ive never stuck my nose in a tau book EVER so no i personally havnt heard of um. is it possible for tau to be chaos?

It's up to you to decide. Farsight colors: choas black and red. Farsight enclave is a breakaway with no vespid, kroot, and especially ETHEREALS(no loss there). He carries an artifact weapon that when he found it all the etherals conveniently died. Seriously, if your not joking check out his stats and army lay out. Just wish they hadn't wimped him out in the second codex. You used to be able to buy up their weapon skill and initiative. Also, his army has the option of running up to 19 crisis suits not including him or Broadsides.

Well, What do you think? Is he Chaos or not? Personally, IMHO I think he's as close as the Tau will get due to that they have NO latent psychic abilities.

Farsight isn't chaos. Tau do not fulfill the "demands of recrutement" of the ruinous powers.

I doubt it... dont races have to be psychic to be corrupted by chaos? & tau arent psychic, hence, no reflections in the warp, no warp travel, etc

The real question is if you take your tau army and convert a lot of spikes, skulls, tentacles etc on it - will it look good or not. Personally I don't see it. Now Necron tau/ tyranid tau would look good - though doesn't make much fluff sense of course...

Well Necron Tau kinda could make sense. But the most you could do with Nid Tau would be to put some nid bits (mostly armor) on troops and vehicles as trophies of war or something.

Nah - I'd just mash up tau and nids, half robotic, half dinosaur, half bio-organ silliness. Not trophies. Like the bydo in r-type. A bit like Nurgling it but not so gross.

This is off topic but Kroot + Nids is AWSOME. They fit together like they were made for it. HHHMMMM, maybe they were.......in the not to distant codex the home world of Pech succumbs to the Nids. I could see GW doing that. SURE hope they're not listening(whistling..............)

In a little while, Tau_gangsta is gonna walk by, say,"ufh, another chaos tau thread" and then come here and write:

It had been dropped for a week when 'jack and 'litch resurrected it. Now its just going to get silly, with chaos trying to weird out the tau and the tau systematically catagorizing the empyria scientifically, Kroot and 'nids living together, ya know biblical level silliness.

I could see The Alfa legion pretending to be SM that have gone over to the greater good. Thier fluff say they ally with zenos and Impersonae Loyals all the time. The Tau not knowing much about Human history might take the bait, And using Mass hypnosis and drugs, they could could slowly gain control, they've done it to Loyal chapters as well.

Also Tau arn't psychic but psychic powers work just fine on them, A Tzeench mind control spell, Slannesh drugs, or a random plague could do them in. And Unlike every other race in WH40k they have no "Super Being" to protect them.

Nothing to be gained. Drag a bunch of tau into the warp and they'll just calm it down and bring order to it, thus effectively ending chaos for the greater good.

I'd think they would get ripped apart, I'm sure a blood thister doesn't care if you're psychic or not. Besides, Tau still have souls.
