Well, here we are again.
So i was thinking about the unopened black reach that i bought months ago, and considered thinking about developing the idea that was the notion of starting to begin to look at the space marines.
I saw PestillenceBlossoms thread about his Time Phantoms and they seemed pretty cool, but it was really the name that i liked.
So i thought about a chapter of loyalist space marines, the Void Stars chapter, that had been lost in the warp, and landed on a planet, unknown to them was an eldar maiden world. But immediatly after there arrival, it was apparant that they had been stalked out of the immaterium by the very thing they had been hunting themselves; Chaos space marines of the Warp Ghosts chapter. A large battle quickly escalated with the two fleets in orbit and the bloody melee of marines below on surface.
As Commander Pendulus sounded strategic withdrawal, without warning Eldar webway portals phased into existance and storm guardians of the Iyanden craftword poured forth, like an amber scythe through the chaos ranks. The causalties were many on all sides and as the last of the Warp Ghosts bloated vessels streaked away into deep space, an uneasy truce was formed between the Eldar and Marines. After brief and blunt negotiation the marines realised that the chaos forces had not come for them, but for the planet and what it harboured. An ancient Eldar relic of unimaginable power; a teleportation device that could warp the user through space and back or even forward in time. As decades past, the chapter, long declared lost in the warp by the Imperials, rose again as the Chronomarines, the little known time-warriors of the god-emperor.
Some may mistake the Legion of the Damned as Chronomarines and vice versa due to there bone coloured armor, (might change the armor as a filter down my ideas into an eventual colour scheme) but the similiarites are that the few loyalist chapters that have encountered them regard the Chrononomarines with suspision and distrust.
thats enough crazy fluff i think. heres my concept colour schemes for my Chronomarines. Oh yeah, and thanks to Waaagh Gonads for the bone idea (even though i didnt used to like him because his avatar looked liek a guy that bullied me throughout secondry school, but i guess i'll forgive him

)
bombard me with C&C until my tolerance shields flicker out, exposing the fortress heart of my ideas open to critcal exterminatus.
