Backstory: ( WIP feel free to help here)
Jeriko 1 was part of a covert inquisitorial team sent to investigate a growing number of reports of Genestealer Cult activity on Hiveworld Nocturnis. Upon arrival on Nocturnis they found evidence of purebreed genestealers in the SUMP and wastes outside of the Hives. They also learned of a plot to capture and impregnate as many psykers as possible with genestealer genes and use them to attract a Nid Hivemind to Nocturnis. During a pitched battle between the cultists and the team - Inquisitor Freydericka Deloran (seeing no possible way to win the battle) focused all of his psykik might into one all-powerful blast which destroyed his mind, the cultists, their psyker captives and the two purebreeds, it resulted in a shockwave that brought the cavern down on them all, killing 4 of the marines and leaving Jeriko all but dead, his mind and memories in tatters.

Hmm looking good so far. The "power chainsword" looks really cool! Not so sure about the stuff in front of his face, is it armour of a cloth? And the bionic arm...beef it up a bit!
Oh yeah, could a mod move this one to the blogs, where all the other =][=munda stuff is.

Very promising so far. The arm could use a bit more bulk, maybe some additional cabling would do the trick?

The Chainsowrd/Sword/Murder Weapon looks really nice. For such a simple conversion, it works well. I would also say to add extra cabling and support to the Bionics. What you've done so far is very nice, but I wouldn't expect it to hold up that epic weapon.

the "stuff" infront of his face is supposed to be cloth - sort of like what you might wrap around your face / wear in a desert - or to protect your lungs etc... i didnt have a head without a breather-mask - so i just wrapped it...
yeh the arm needs to be redone i think - thicker styrene tubes and rods.
will post updates as soon as i have time to work on Jeriko some more - please feel free to help with back story though

Like Rahveel says, just beef up the existing thing, maybe even give it a hand instead of the power chainsword being attached to it.

I actually like the incredibly lithe mechanical arm and the paradox it presents. It's surely some incredibly strong alloy.

thanks...
too late actually - chopped it off this morning and attached new arm, also added some scratches and dents and battle damage... just hope I can paint him well enough (painting is a real weak one for me.)
but i have a problem with scale - the forearm part is a little too long - trying to trim it a bit carefully. will do and post new images tomorrow.
i was actually thinking of doing a SQUAT / SPACE DWARF as one of my gangers - would be built out of 2 terminator shoulder pads for the torso, a set of SM Scout legs chopped so that there is only crotch and boots - add some fabric folds with greenstuff, some IG arms (which should arrive in the post anytime soon) and a couple of kroot armor plates - any Squat pics / references would be welcome.
Proposed name for Squat / Space Dwarf: Big Tom

I'm loving the Bolter, and his Tau friend looks pretty solid too. I personally would go for some kind of robes. I think that would work best with how his current stance looks at the moment.
Or, perhaps, a shoulder mounter servoskull?

Really liking the Bionic arm and the bulking-up of your Space Marine. It is a Terminator armor?
If I'm not mistaking, those are Kroot shoulder-pads on his thighs? They look kinda cool, but maybe you should integrate them a bit more into the armor itself
Could you give us a better picture of the Boltgun? It looks like it has gotten some pretty cool conversions, but I can't really see the details.

Excellent stuff so far IronKing.
I´m especially impressed by the tau guy. His trenchcoat is great, the detailing is very effective.
It looks like there´s a tiny bit of gapfilling to be done around the shoulders, but that could just be the pics.
Looking forward to the next guys!

Yeh - Termi legs and torso - the back is from an Adeptus Mechanicus Marine (vehicle sprue) with a termi shoulder pad cut in half and pasted on to bulk it up. The 1 arm is a scratch built bionic and the other a Catachan arm - made a little longer and bigger with GS... will try get better shot of the bolter.

Thanks very much, im still fairly bad with GS the coat represents 3 do-overs (with the previous 2 ending up as little balls of green rage - ) I start to rush as I get the result I want and stuff it up... patience is key. Yep got to clean up the coat around the shoulders and under the arms.

I almost think Roswell worked out much better than Jeriko. Im really happy with the result - my biggest worry is painting him. Especially the skin...
Some Fluff: WIP
Name: Jeriko 1
Race: Space Marine
Rank: Leader / Boss
Jeriko 1 was part of a covert inquisitorial team sent to investigate a growing number of reports of Genestealer Cult activity on Hiveworld Nocturnis. Upon arrival on Nocturnis they found evidence of purebreed genestealers in the SUMP and wastes outside of the Hives. They also learned of a plot to capture and impregnate as many psykers as possible with genestealer genes and use them to attract a Nid Hivemind to Nocturnis. Drawn by the blast and the promise of easy salvage a troop of scavengars burrowed their way into the collapsed cavern. To their glee they were able to recover an almost intact suite of Astartes Power Armor, unfortunately it was still being worn by Jeriko 1. After a brief slaughter brought on by a case of mistaken identity Jeriko 1 set about the underhive becoming a shadowy and feared leader whose intentions and motives are wholly unknown.
Name: Roswell
Race: Tau (ex Shas'Ui)
Rank: Heavy
'Roswell', was a Shas'Ui assigned to escort the Tau Por' El delegation to Hive World Nocturnis. The delegation was en-route to discuss technology trade agreements between the great houses and the Empire.
'Roswell' was invited to demostrate the advanced repulsor and shield technology during a spyrer family DECENT to the underhive. 'Roswell' and the rich family Spyrers soon found themselves lost and heavily outnumbered by a large gang of mutants. After an ill-fated fire fight 'Roswell' managed a narrow escape, though he was badly wounded.
The rest of the spyrers were lost in the encounter meaning that 'Roswell' was honour-bound to remain hidden lest he bring the delegation into reproach. Better for all to think that he had died along with the Rich family gang than return alive and alone while their corpses littered the underhive or filled the bellies of the monstrosities below.
A few weeks later he was picked up by Eve Valentine, who nicknamed him 'Roswell' and he found himself co-erced/press-ganged into working for Jeriko 1. His skill with ranged weapons and technical ability greatly impressed the ex-marine and he soon rose to the rank of Heavy.

The legs are off a couple scouts I picked up, shortened and melted together...
yeh i dont think they are original legs - they were painted with some horrible enamel which i stripped with some nail varnish remover - i then used a highspeed dremel-type tool with a stiff brush / polish head to clean it up... left it in more nail varnish remover over night and repolished.
It was crap hard to cut, but responded fairly well to melting... i cut up two of the other scouts, but they seem to be either pewter or the natural GW grey.
The head is indead a Marauder head, sans horns... I also cut away the helmet above the eyes slightly and added the goggles. The arms are now on - one with a metail chain-knife from the scouts and the other is awaiting final decision - either a hand-flamer, or a las pistol...

The latest installment in my =I=MundaHeim adventure:
Name: Big Tom - (Completed but unpainted)
Race: Squat (Homo Sapiens Rotundus)
Rank: Ganger
Loadout: Chainsword and Shotgun
Not really happy with the pipe from his head to the breather tank - and the tank itself is not so great - but will have to do! will look better painted I hope.
NEW MEMBER
Name: Aaron "Gunna" Geiger
Race: Human ( IG Catachan)
Rank: Heavy
Loadout: Heavy Bolter / Stubber, & counts as CCW +1 strength
Thinking about adding some roll bars / a cage to the torso to protect from falling crates / loads, also need to make a little ratling / grot / snotling carrying an ammo case to reload him - still need to make more shells - just dont know how to make them look like they are flying out of the bolter - also need an ammo feed etc.
what else... mmm, i was thinking of using fishing gut - running a line from the bolter to the base and then drilling through the shells and stringing them?? any other suggestions?

Looking good iron, both the squat and the Catachan machine guy.
Only one small detail. It looks a bit like the IG guy is walking out of the suit,
because his right foot is lifted up from the machine.
You might want to raise the machines foot as well.
Just a thought.
Keep it coming!
EDIT: Too many typo's.

Not what i was going for - supposed to be armor plates - will connect to shoulder piece with some GS work

Nice idea, but really too much for me to consider - I am so worn out by doing him i cant even esplain to joo. Its really too scary to consider, but you are sorta right.

Absolutely, infact if you look at insaniaks PM Blog you may even find a comment from me telling him to consider that concept appropriated for my gang! it was also inspired by the Power Loader from Aliens and the Matrix APU's from Matrix 2 in Zion!
Thanks for the comments.
