possibly somewhere on a planet in a bowl somewhere (london)
I thought that seen as there are so many dakka users in different countries that we should share some of our comedy and maybe get to see some things we might not normally see.
if other users could show some comedy programs that they watch then we can spread the laughter.
my contribution:
this is from the Sunday night project which is kind of a chat show where the guest presents the show. this vidio shows a spoof music video that Alan Carr and Justin lee Colins made for the program with guest presenter James Corden about moobs.
i spent ages on my avitar. YOU MUST LIKE IT OR HE WILL EAT YOU!
thats just the way the cookie crumbles.

I agree, we have a broad sense of humor and this shows just one part of it. But James Corden is very popular at the moment due to the success of Gavin and Stacy(British sit-com) and alan carr is very successful in stand up at the moment.

Aren't the majority of us on Dakka English? Or do the gun owners outnumber us

Yes, I would not say that The Sunday Night Project is hugely representative of the cream of British comedy. Gavin & Stacy is pretty damn funny, and I never cease to laugh at Welsh Accents (don't we all?).
I prefer more stand-up to the sort of "Drama" Comedy. Michael McIntyre, Jimmy Carr (before his entire act was just one liners.) and Franky Boyle / many others.

Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed at him, we leagued with him, old chum.
No soldier's paid to kick against His powers.
We laughed - knowing that better men would come,
And greater wars: when each proud fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives; not men, for flags.
I actually watch more American comedy - I'm watching the American office, didn't really get into the English one, was too mean.

i love quite abit of comedy from all over... among my favorite stand up guys are, Eddie Izzard, Frank Caliendo, and Carlos Mencia.
when it comes to movie humor, ive gone more the way of british comedy movies of late, aside from the american made "Beer Fest" (freaking hilarious if you've not seen)
my current fav comedies are Shaun of the Dead, and Hot Fuzz, and of course the most quotable movie in the galaxy, Holy Grail
Have you seen Withnail and I ?If not do so at the first available time.
I think the American Office is well done, but I do prefer the horrible sense of realism that is stronger in the British version. It's very well shot and things like the tunes they play at the Office party is just so true it's frightening.
I really dug Arrested Development, really upset that got cancelled.
The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
