Greetings fellow Warhammerists!

Yes, I'm new here. After skimming through this forum several times (found it via google), I finally decided that it's worth the effort and time to join. So who am I? Well, I begun painting Wahammer minis at the age of 25, in year 2008 (yes, I'm still 25 ). A friend of mine gave me some minis to play around with and I got hooked. Long before then, I was envious of guys fiddling with Warhammer when I was about 11 years old. You know what they say... it's never too late to learn new skills and hobbies. Now the Warhammer hobby is here to stay - in my appartment, in my head... in my soul I guess!

What do I play? Well... I haven't played my first game yet. I guess I'm more of a "assembly and painting" type. But then again... I'm currently painting a 500point WH army: The Space Orks from the Assault on Black Reach kit. Very affordable kit to get up and running quilckly! Love the Nobz in that kit.

Other than an Ork army, I have a Dwarf army from the Fantasy side of WH. Not yet fully assembled. I find myself byuing things quicker than I can assemble and paint them sometimes (common issue that comes with the hobby I guess). Dwarfs and Orks, that's about all I have for now. Well... 3 chaos warriors that I bought just to try and paint to get a "feel" of how it is to assemble and paint those... Never got too hooked on Chaos though. My next project after the Orks will probably be Eldar, and some random minis from other armies - just to try whenever I can afford to.

Last but not least: I'm from Malmo, in Sweden. I have a collaborative blog too, with a dude who does a lot of War at Sea stuff, check it out if you feel like it (it's in English, so no worries there): www.madeinmalmo.se/blogg We post random, geek-stuff there.

Cheers,
hopefully you'll hear a lot from me and my projects!

Thank you (all) for your warm welcomes. I'm looking forward to your tips, tricks and so forth.

The weather? It's quite gray and cold right now (about + 1 degrees celcius). The rain falls at times here in the south. Up north they've got loads of snow though. We're no so lucky here in Malmo..
