Just thought I'd say hello to everyone. My name is paul and I've been into 40k exclusively for about 3-4 years now. I started off playing SMurfs(go figure) after my cousin got me interested by telling me the background of all the races, being an avid sci-fi fan I fell in love with 40k the second I looked into it. I took a break about 2 years ago after life started getting a bit too busy. Only got back to 40k a week ago when my gf gave me all her old tyranid stuff(unopened boxes, tonnes of paints and basing material).

anyway to cut a long story short I am a big nub at battles(only ever had 3 against my cousins tau using my space marines). I enjoy painting and making army lists but have yet to actually enjoy a full game of anything more then 500 points. I live in Dublin, Ireland, I'm afraid of all the overly enthusiastic guys at the only GW near me so I never go there for anything other then essential parts.

To date I have about 2k worth of ultramarines 4th company under my bed and so far I have 5 genestealers and 2 carnifexes sitting infront of me. I must admit I'm LOVING the larger tyranid creatures.

Anyway I'll catch you guys out on the big bad forums.

if you like larger nids its possible to make a nidzilla list (6 fex's, 2 tyrants and a few little gribblies)

I was thinking more along the lines of a warrior heavy list but I'm not really in the know, so I'll see what advice comes my way.
