I have read the stories and background of the fantastic 4 in their respective codecies, but I have always wondered what planets the other primarchs (especially the chaos ones) were stranded on. I haven't read any of the HH novels, so basically, I only have the most vague idea of what they are like. So I would appreciate if anyone wanted to take the time to tell me.

The HH novels, for the most part are worth reading. Save like two. Read them.

Well they did retreat to the Eye of Terror, they didn't want to leave those planets for Imperial filth to colonize.

Magnus: Alive

Fulgrim: Alive
Horus: R.I.P
Perturabo: Alive
Lorgar: Alive
Night Haunter: Dead
Alpharius/Omegon: Unknown as they may be twins.

There are some great resources out there to improve your Primarch IQ:

The Lexicanum: http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Main_Page

Warhammer Wiki: http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page

Or the Index Astartes series... if there are any left out there. The Index Astartes was a regular column in White Dwarf about the 40k universe and were put into four books. However, they are a bit tough to get but I think you might be able to find them on the Interwebz for download. These were the most in-depth I've found, save for the lore you could get from 2nd Edition.

Good luck!

Research on wiki,lexicanum,HH-novels,Visions of...,SM/CSm codices got all the same result: Homeworld=unknown.

If anyone has a reliable source, please inform me.

Do former primarchs transmutated to demons still count as living-primarchs?

I don't think you got what I was getting at. The fantastic 4 became rulers of utopian worlds, or at least compared to what they were before their coming. I wondered what worlds the other ones grew up on and how they were changed by them. I want a brief history on their homes, their cultures, societies technological levels and so on.

Are we sure Prospero is destroied? In the eth ed rulebook they show it's location. I know they could be just telling where it was but, I found that interesting. Also forgive my ignorince but, who are the fantastic 4 primarchs? Are they the ones responsible for the current chaos cultits? Magus, Angron, Mortarion, and Fgrim?

I dunno...

Prospero was destroyed by Leman Russ after he gave the Sons a beating on the world (Damn Space Puppies, we let 'em win!)
I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) but the Fantastic Four are the Primarchs who have their own Codices
Sanguinius
Lion El'Jonson
Leman Russ
Roboute Guilliman

OK Guilliman doesn't strictly have his own codex, but Codex SM might as well be Codex: Ultrasmurfs

That's what it should be named.

Only reason i asked was because it shows Prospero in the rulebook and wondered why. I don't belive it shows most if any of the other destroied planets.

Yup - sorry, in response to the original poster, who exactly are the fantastic 4?

Do you mean Guilliman, Russ, Sanguinius and Jonson? If so,

* Guilliman created a utopia in Ultramar
* Jonson destroyed the beasts that ravaged his world. But when he returned to it he destroyed it, creating The Rock.
* Russ adopted his world, but didn't really change it into a utopia.
* Sanguinius created a fairer society, but didn't really change the radiation-soaked moon he lived on.

So they didn't exactly create utopias. IIRC the only ones who came from utopian societies were Guilliman and Rogal Dorn. As far as the other loyalists...

* Khan killed off a tyrannical ruling class and turned his world into a sort of medaeval learning centre.
* Vulcan adopted his homeworld's customs and fire-cult beliefs.
* Ferrus Manus adopted his toxic homeworlds customs of harsh, wandering clans.
* Not sure about Corax

Iirc, in the Ultrasmurf codex, not the new one but the story is that he killed Horus in the last moments of his life. Horus wounded him mortally but the Emperor just killed him with a lucky blow.

Corax freed his planet (industrial world + mining), most of his guerilla tactics come from this time.
Now its a world capable of the same output as a forgeworld.
And location of deliverance varies in codex/BRB = homeworld moves in shadows?

In the horus-heresy novels(black library) Legion, they first spoke of alparius and omegon.
Its a great novel with some nice twist at the end and the role of Alpha legions cause in the heresy.
don't want to spoil the fun for others so please read it.
I enjoyed it because alpha legion isn't a chapter were alot is written about
As the first primarch was special( horus equal to the emperor), the last primarch's were special too (they were twins).

Yes, you got it right, lion el'johnson, leman russ, guilleman, sanguinus, they are the fantastic 4.

And thanks arbiterian, that was just what I was getting at. I know what planets the primarchs grew up on, but nothing about the planets. I heard something about angron and some gladiator-like arena, and how the emperor saved him and that angron was not very happy about it, what was that all about?
