Subject: What do you guys think about Stephan Fowler?
"Stephan Fowler wife swap" or a Stephan Fowler search on youtube gets you plenty of entertainment.
Basically, this guy was a complete elitist ass to this mid-western lady during the duration of the "swap" its fun to watch (or enraging) just to see how ignorant someone who is THAT full of himself can be. Its also causing a huge backlash of persecution on his family in San Francisco which, while unfortunate for the children, should have been forseen by someone as intelligent as he claims to be.

So this has had a better education does not make him more worthy to live on this planet. So what if he is smarter than his guest partner, he had no right or reason to treat her this way.
Proof that Gygax got it right when he made the Wisdom and Intelligence stats seperate. Stephen Fowler, from whart I see of him here, is a pompous little fool who really should know better. After all if you have a cultured upbringing, which is what he truly aspires to, you don't need to show, you just know who you are.

I am interested to know why you think she deserved the insults heaped upon her. I only watched the highlights just now and was appalled by this behaviour, it makes good TV somewhere I suppose.

Pure Schadenfreude I'm afraid. Yes I felt dirty and I agree its not her fault. Its a bit like laughing at a joke you really shouldn't laugh at.

He's lucky that overweight redneck woman didn't put the beat down on him.
There was nothing funny that I saw... just a pathetic egomaniac that enjoys belittling those he sees as below his station. While he may benefit from an advanced education, I see a very stupid man.

Ok I found all the obnoxious t*** parts a bit boring tbh, who cares, some people are like that. But the bit when the other husband said "you're not a proud American?" and then looked at her as if she just told him she's a transsexual, was hilarious.

You shouldnt feel dirty, the TV shows are set up like that, it is your id talking, not you. Essentially media interest hooking techniques have changed little since the Roman Games. Besides from what I now read and the clips I saw regarding the aftermath the roles are reversed; Fox News tore him apart:
I will have to admit I found that more than a little amusing. Schadenfreud, a double helping of irony mixed in with poetic justice. To their credit some local newspapers have not joined in calling the issue a 'pile-on'.
