Most of that video comes from the trials of Berkeley's hiker exoskeleton. All that really appears to have happened is the development of the Jet fuel alternative and a major military company picking up an exosuit for development and production.
I prefer the SARCOS design, which enhances strength and not just carrying capacity.

Though I doubt its going anywhere (the sarcos design). It's cool to see the tech finally getting treated realistically. There are also a couple of "assisters" being tested/sold in japan to the elderly which do what this does but in a civilian performance model.

There are great developments in the works for compact battery designs, so I doubt the Sarcos design is dead in the water just yet.

Well the primarry use of a powered armor suit would be for forced entry into buildings where high calibur weapons can't be brought to bear against them and where engagements would typically be very short and brutal. The heavy armor and armorments that can be used with the sarcos suit would fulfill that goal much better than the lockheed model which seems to be a precursor to a near permanantly suited warior/backfield worker. Neither suit is really useful for conventional soldier duties.

I think I had that toy once. You could wind it up and it would walk foreward until our brave men and women in uniform blew it up with their awesome power armor suits.

"I.. I know my time has come" Tethesis said with a gasp, a torrent of blood flowing from his lips.
"No! Hang on brother!!" Altharius could feel the warmth slip away from his dear sibling's hands
Tethesis's reached out his bloodied arm to Altharius's face.
"I..I have one final request"
Altharius leaned close to listen, tears welling in his once bright eyes.
"make sure th..they put my soulstone in a tank... it'll be... real fethin' cool"
"Yes, you're gonna be the most fethin' cool tank!!" burning hot tears streaked down Altharius's face, as he held his brother's soul in his grasp.
