Well, they're missing a few bits, but that seems to be spelled out in the auction. Also, that's the color of the plastic that GW used in the late 80's/early 90's.

Nothing, other than the fact that they are antiques.

I have 6 of these and 3 more vehicles on the same chassis.

I own not 1 single one of the current rhino kits.

My wolves look fugly, they need new rides. And vindicators.

They are a bit smaller than the current rhinos.
So watch out for TFG!

Ah the ancient greatness of old school rhinos. I must say GW did an awesome job on their rhinos throughout 40K history.

If you had the money, these would make excellent razorbacks.

Ahhh now they bring back some memories......

missing the third rhino from the old school box set.

Other then that, it looks like a good buy for those who want the old stuff.

Well.... call me crazy but I think those are fakes. I have 3 of that EXACT style rhino and mine came in grey plastic. In his description it says they are unpainted.... which to me means that weird plastic color is different from GW.

Mine was that color when I acquired it decades ago. Maybe yours are fakes...

my old ones are grey plastic aswell.

just a side note to cracker; just seems kinda funny that both are missing the same pipe.

They did use the Grey plastic latterly, but there is still something about those that just doesn't quite seem to match up with my memory.

Buggered if I can put my hand on it.

They also used tan plastic, I had one or two of the old rhinos that came in tan. I think it's legit.

also, take a close look at them.
the colours of the plastic seem to change in certain parts.


i know they used to use this colour ages ago (stealer hybrids etc etc) but wasnt sure if they used it on the old rhino.

I dont think they are fake, My pred was that color when i bought it.... then again that was like 17 years ago so maybe i am just being nostalgic

Mine is on my desk- definitely tan.

i know they produced alot of things in the bone plastic colour.
just wasnt sure if it included rhino's.

They are also missing headlights.
I'm 99% that they are legit.

I think that's down to someone being a bit slowed when it comes to assembly.
You can see that one of the rear pipes is facing forwards, the look better snapped off
than left on in my opinion.

According to the instructions(at least when I bought them and I own 15 of these), the exhaust pipes are all supposed to point inwards towards the door.

Look legit to me. I had Rhinos of that color, along with beakies back in the day.

That seems a little silly.
Mine were modeled facing backwards till I tore them off and added the 'lion' head H bolter muzzles from the CSM vehicle accessory sprue!
