This is a new kit from Hasegawa in the Maschinen Krieg series which I believe started in the 1970s but a lot of the current kits and models are fairly recent.

I mentioned the battlesuits in a previous thread -- they are on sale at the moment.

I'm thinking this series could be used for a variant semi-high-tech IG army, or a low-tech Tau army, or Orkified up for the lulz.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

I must be reading this wrong..... 24 1/35 power armor suits for $36?! I don't have a need for these but I'm sure I can come up with one at that price.

Yeah, I'm tempted, too.

yeah, they are a nice compromise between UNA and Red Blok battlesuits.

I seem to recall at one point a long ways back that these were to be used for AT-43, and yet they ended up not using Mahcinen Kreiger.

Can anyone please give me a rundown of their approximate sizes compared to a standard AOBR marine and a cadian IG. Also please if possible alert me as to which size round base they would need to go on to go with their scale and whether or not it is feasible or adviseable to paint over the prepainted scheme.

My completely unsubstantiated guess is that they are about the size of a Terminator or maybe a 2nd gen Tau Stealth suit. A 1/35 man is bigger than a Marine/Cadian, and the suits are noticeably bigger than the man inside them (of course).

Thanks for the info. I am guessing that to base them one would need a 40mm round base?

Also thanks for the link to the painted suits. Thumbs up all around.

I also think that would be great stand in for Ogryns.

Tanks, we definitely need more tank.

Yep, that was my point -- it's almost a crime NOT to buy them.

I think the suits are larger than a Tau mk.2 Stealth Suit.

I'll measure a 1/35 scale tank crewmember when I get home and post the dimensions.

The flying thing appears to be a single-seater gunship but it's 1/20 scale so it should be large enough for a Devilfish.

I'm not a fan of those armored suits, but Holy Schnikes that anti-gravity raider is cool-looking!

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Oh right.

My 1/35 tank commander is 47mm from sole to eye, and 41mm from sole to top of his beret.

He's standing up straight with legs together.

Note that you'll have to cough up $30+ for shipping... So it's like $3 per model - not terrible, but not $1.50 each.

Considering they come from Japan, $30 would be pretty cheap.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

I've got some of the 1/35 suits and they would be about the same height as a crisis suit.

I've decided to buy some of these instead:
http://www.hlj.com/product/YLSAM-012-2

24 suits for $18, plus I like the design more as they have jump packs.

Thanks for the find I have ordered some of these as well!
Between 40k and At-43, hell perhaps even some Infinity, these will come in handy.

They just showed up today, one week from the day I placed my order.

WTF? That "24pcs" thing didn't mean "one big figure with 24 parts", did it?

Ohhhhh......verry niiiice.

Here's some size comparison pics featuring a Guardsman from my aborted TOG-themed army. The right arm, antenna, and shoulder pads just haven't been attached yet.

Who is the greaseman and what words of his have I used?

Also, thanks for the size comparison, Noble713. Those are pretty nifty!

That would be an excellent Civilian Transport/Scouter for an =I=Munda game, with the Vulkan removed, of course.

Well, those suits are certainly cheap, but I have no idea what you could use them for.

I ordered a pack of 5 of these myself to use as Ogryns in my Elysian army. Helluva lot cheaper than buying GW's metal Ogryns.

I've decided to make a high-tech human army, using the Tau list, with these as Crisis suits. Stay tuned for preliminary work in P&M.
