just a quick generic introduction really, just got back in to the hobby after about 10 years away- after a good number of years of painting GW stuff and playing AHQ in my youth, moving away from home, college, and finally several monotamus jobs finally put a stop to all my hobby and my armies have sat in storage for the last 10 years.
Moved house just a few weeks ago, and now finally with a ton of free space (my workshop is bigger then my first flat!) and with some encouragement from my loving GF ive dusted off boxes and have started to re-assemble my hordes.

Been lurking on here for a couple of weeks now, decided that i should finally join up if only to give me a place to vent out my WIPs as im still currently living out a lot of boxes.

I play and paint mostly WFB gobbos and have just started my first 40k ork army. I did have a nice little collection starting up of dark eldar but they are all but gone now due to moving too many times.

I also intend to bring my epic 40k orks back to life at some point, incuding my dechatment of epic scale gorkamorka inspired rebel grots, though my huge epic 'nid army has been totally ruined i dont see them returning any time soon as the prices on ebay have been crazy! ( i managed to save just the one singel, lone gargoyle!)

And yeah, its great to be back. Been a slow start in getting any thing done this week but while the GF is at work im going to carve my self a good sized niche in our 2nd front room today, to accommodate some kind of working area. Not only has it been difficult in cleaning up and re basing 2000pts of goblins on the end of the bed but i now have a pile of new minis awaiting construction and i think Mrs Mallo is getting kinda fed up with hoovering plastic from the sheets! lol

lol no they wont paint themselves but thankfully my GF is willing to help out where she can on the assembly line (blowing off the remains of mould lines after ive attacked them with a file isnt the most glamorous of jobs but she does it so well lol)

as for my painting skills after ten years away- hopfully have to say not to bad so far, primed up a couple and shaded DA green and done a few fixes on broken conversions and i still seem to remember everything i learnt in my youth. was hoping to have some photos up this afternoon of my WIP but unfortchantly our camara is out of action and the photos on my phone are rubbish. Have a few on my pc but thats still upstairs and not workable since we moved (am currently on my friends pc in our living room while we are still unpacking!)

have just finished sorting out space for my desk in the other living room today and managed to find my self an old unit to work on, so my mini workload should increase in the next few days!
